Cue the Pittsburgh pride because Katherine and Alex’s wedding at the @historycenter @historycenterevents is a love letter to the Steel City! 🖤✨

From a rainbow of gorgeous blooms by @sapphireandlace to a classic ride with Antique Coach Excursions, the hometown touches were on full display. Guests left audio messages on a vintage telephone guest book from @afterthetone.co, ☎️ grabbed miniature @heinz ketchup bottles to find their seats, and enjoyed an after-party fueled by legendary @mineospizzapgh! 🍕 @commonpleacatering put their baking expertise on full display by flawlessly replicating Alex’s parents’ exact wedding cake from an old family recipe. Every heartfelt moment, every stunning portrait by @tylernormanphotography, and every emotional scene captured by @justhitchedfilms will have you falling in love with this city all over again. 🎬💫

There’s a reason people love events at the Heinz History Center! ✨

This space has a unique Pittsburgh character, cultural significance, and an incredibly rich atmosphere, and we are honored to be the exclusive caterer here for over 20 years! 🍽️

Surrounded by exhibits that celebrate our city's history, hosting an event at the History Center is a one-of-a-kind experience that you cannot get at any other venue in the 'Burgh.

Small plates are some of our favorite dishes to create! ✨ Plus, they're perfect for cocktail-style events, corporate mixers, weddings, galas, and more.

When done well, small plates help to keep the event moving, spark conversations, and leave people wanting to try more.

At Common Plea, small plates give our culinary team room to be especially thoughtful with flavor and presentation.

What kind of small plate would you enjoy most? 🍽️
