For those who have followed CLAY + CRAFT’s journey, thank you for being here. I’m incredibly excited to finally share a new creative endeavor I’ve been quietly building behind the scenes.

COMMON PROJECT is an art, ceramics + creative studio opening this June in Solana Beach, California.

This new space is being built to make creativity approachable, inspiring and accessible—a regular dose of creative care to weave into real life.

At COMMON PROJECT, you’ll be able to create from a curated menu of do-it-yourself art projects, join instructional group workshops, take a pottery lesson and gather in a meaningful way.

This vision has been dancing in my head for over a decade, and I’m so excited to bring it to life for a community I love dearly.

This page has now officially become COMMON PROJECT, so please follow along for studio updates and opening announcements.

And, don’t worry—CLAY + CRAFT isn’t going anywhere. My artwork will continue at @clayandcraftco, so please re-follow.

Save The Date: Join us on Thursday, October 22nd at 7:00pm at COMMON PROJECT to kick off @swamissurfing Return to the Reef Surf Contest.

The event will feature @raisedinwater by @westonfuller with live music from @bigbossbubelehband, illustrations by Just for the Halibut (to paint with our studio made watercolors), beverages from @805beer and @calisqueeze and wine from our neighbors @wetstonewinebarsolanabeach.

This week’s workshop, Cyanotypes ☀️.

A cyanotype is a camera-less technique. When exposed to UV light it creates cyan and indigo colored prints.

Join us this Thursday, September 10th at 11:00am. You’ll leave with four canvas prints (4x6 to 8x10 sizes) ready to frame.
