We have entered our athlete era.

Thursday, September 24, we are debuting @donktoss, the chaotic lawn game featured on @ssa_espn8theocho. We’re kicking it off with an inaugural tournament because leaving these donks unattended would be irresponsible.

Grab a teammate and prepare to take this much too seriously. We’ll have 8 team spots for a single-elimination tournament. Check in at 6:30pm, first toss at 7.

$10 per two-person team. Spectators, hecklers, and self-appointed commentators are welcome!

You need to know about The Commons! It's an extension of Cinderblock Brewery in North Kansas City, and it is the kind of place that turns a regular Friday night into a WHOLE thing.

Pool tables, darts, skee-ball, air hockey, Pac-Man, cornhole, pop-a-shot.. all free to play. Bay Boys sandwiches inside if you get hungry (the Club is the move, non-negotiable). And the Watermelon Basil Margarita is the drink you didn't know you needed. Open Thursdays through Sundays, and yes, kids are welcome until 3pm so you can do the whole family afternoon before switching to date night mode.
