COMMON WEALTH hits theatres across Australia and NZ from June 23 via Madman / Garage Entertainment.

Writer/Director @kaneguglielmi will commence national tours across both countries for a series of screenings and Q&As.

@commonwealthfilm is a heart-on-your-sleeve, four-year odyssey filmed across eight countries exploring plausible alternative economic and political models. Set on a constantly moving backdrop with a politically neutral approach, and soundtrack by Aussie jazz trio @brekkyboy — it’s a film for everyone.

This month marks 4 years since the journey began to produce @commonwealthfilm — I never thought it would take so long to get it to the finish line. But I’m still here—and we’re just getting started.

🌏 Ep 461 | Why Aren’t We Happy? The Search for a Better Way to Live with Kane Guglielmi

Why aren’t we happy — and is there a better way to live?

Today I’m joined by Kane Guglielmi, director of Common Wealth, a documentary that travels the world exploring different ideas around government, finance, taxation, land ownership and the way we structure society.

But beneath it all is a much bigger question: what actually makes a good life?

We explore whether modern society has traded community and connection for individual success — and why purpose, belonging and living in service of others might be the things we’re really missing. by @commonwealthfilm

It’s been a nice short break. Today I start the long journey to Western Australia. 6hr ride, 6hr flight 😅

See you soon Perth!

What begins as a search for answers evolves into a thoughtful exploration of how societies might build greater unity and equity in an increasingly divided world. Gentle in spirit yet ambitious in scope, Common Wealth is both a deeply personal story and a hopeful call to reimagine the structures that define how we live together.
