Some salads are side characters. Ours demand the spotlight.

At *Communal Cafe*, the Caesar comes in with confidence—sharp, bold, unapologetically classic. The Cobb? Full of personality, layered with flavor, and totally impossible to ignore. These aren’t just lunch options. They’re main events.

🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗🥗

Whether you’re powering through a workday, catching up with a friend, or just treating yourself (because why not?), these salads get it. They’re satisfying, full of flavor, and made to keep you coming back.

Now serving freshness with love, right in the heart of Nevada City.
Come see what all the forkful fuss is about.

A huge thank you to everyone who grabbed a seat for our first Club Macumba supper club at Communal.

We weren't sure what to expect when we announced this dinner, and seeing it sell out means a lot to us.

Thank you for the support. We can't wait to share this evening with you all 💛

🍓 Matcha season is in full swing… and our Strawberry Matcha continues to be the drink everyone comes back for.

Made with vibrant matcha, house strawberry, and layered to perfection it’s sweet, earthy, refreshing, and somehow still the most photogenic drink on the menu.

It’s seasonal…

Stop by Communal Cafe and see why this has become our most-loved drink. 💚🍓

Spring has arrived at Communal Café 🌿☀️

We’re so excited to share our new spring & summer menu—full of bright, fresh flavors and a few drinks we’re seriously obsessed with.

✨ Meet our Raspberry Cream Cheese Danish Latte — inspired by a dreamy creation from @littlejoycoffee in Minnesota. It’s creamy, a little tangy, perfectly sweet, and unlike anything we’ve had before.

🍓 Our Strawberry Matcha is back and better than ever—refreshing, earthy, and just the right amount of sweet.

🍋 New lemonades are here for warmer days, featuring our house-made sage rosemary syrup—perfect in a lemonade, matcha lemonade, or even a latte if you’re feeling adventurous.

Everything is made with intention, seasonal ingredients, and a whole lot of love.

Come try the new menu and find your new favorite 💛
