We are delighted to welcome @heliconglasgow1 to the West Midlands on Sat 13th February. Known for the intensity and energy of their live shows, Helicon will bring their modern psychedelia to Wolverhampton for the first time.

Support on the night comes from @kavus_torabi of @gongband & @officialcardiacs. We send best wishes to Kavus and his family for what they'll be dealing with in the meantime.

Thanks to @danaoxaal for supporting us in making this happen. The 'community' just got wider.

So, after five years of @community_wmids, things are about to get wider.

Same objective, i.e. shout about the amazing local artists and venues we have, but now... from time to time... we'll be looking to bring others into the fold - the first of which will be announced shortly.

With the football and hot weather understandably meaning fewer people enjoyed this fifth instalment of @community_wmids than in previous years, it is with some considerable pride and gratitude that it has still generated £534 to help those in need of more than just a fun day out.

Thank you to everyone who gave of their time and money to support what is an incredible grassroots scene in the West Midlands.
