COMMUNITY JOURNAL
A love letter to California — through the music, the food, the nightlife, the nature, and most importantly, the people who make it home.
Community Journal was created to celebrate the beauty, creativity, and culture that lives in every corner of California, with a special focus on the voices, stories, and experiences of Black and Brown communities.
From the neighborhoods that raised us to the artists, chefs, creatives, dancers, entrepreneurs, and everyday people shaping what California looks and feels like today — this is a space to document it, honor it, and share it.
Because community is worth celebrating.
Culture is worth preserving.
And the beauty around us deserves to be seen.
Welcome to Community Journal 🦋
