Orzo l Female l 5months l Tortoiseshell

Meet Mia & Martha 🐾🤎
**Bonded pair**

Mia l Female l 6months l Brown Tabby
Martha l Female l 6months l Torbie

Mia and Martha were found living with their mother and siblings in the storage area of a large apartment complex in Frederick MD in January 2025. The little family managed to survive on handouts from kindly residents but the little kittens could not be caught. When the extreme cold weather arrived, the property manager contacted Community Kitties Rescue for help and we were able to get them trapped, vetted and fostered. The mother, now spayed and healthy, was returned into the care of the property manager.

We are now seeking forever homes for Mia & Martha and their siblings, Macy & Maurice. Because the kittens started their socialization a bit late in life and have been through so much together as a family unit, they are very attached to each other. For this reason, we hope to have them adopted in pairs! ✨

These adorable tabby sisters are just like Tigger: bouncey, trouncey, ouncey, pouncey, and fun, fun, fun, fun, fun! Mia is bold and curious, while Martha is a bit shyer and more cautious, but both share their love for play, and outgoing Mia knows just how to jumpstart Martha. Both kittens are healthy, spayed, fully vaccinated, and are negative for FeLV and FIV. Mia and Martha need a home with plenty of toys, love, and understanding to continue their development.

If you have room in your heart and home for this very sweet and deserving pair of sisters please TEXT or CALL us at 301-788-1574 📞 by @communitykitties

Macy l Female l 6months l Grey Tabby

Macy is and affectionate grey tabby and quicker to warm up to new people than Maurice, the brown tabby, but both kittens are outgoing and on track to be very well-socialized. Both kittens are healthy, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, and are negative for FeLV and FIV.

Meet Opal & Onyx 🐈‍⬛ 🐈‍⬛ ✨

Meet Opal & Onyx Opal & Onyx are a tightly bonded pair of 1 year old wild-born cats who were trapped last fall along with their kittens at an industrial park in Hagerstown, MD. The kittens did well in foster care and have been adopted. Originally, Opal & Onyx were to be returned to the site since the employees were feeding and sheltering them and wanted to keep them as shop cats. However, that is not possible because of the use of rat poison. For these reasons, we are now seeking permanent barn placement for Opal & Onyx.
Opal & Onyx are extremely sweet with each other and seek each other out when separated. Although they received only minimal human interaction prior to being trapped, both cats can now be handled, although they prefer to limit interactions to ankle-rubbing at mealtime. Both continue to relax around their care-givers more and more each day and we expect them to be very visible barn cats.
Opal is spayed and Onyx is neutered. Both are negative for FIV and FeLV, microchipped, ear-tipped, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, dewormed, and current on flea preventative (Revolution Plus). This beautiful pair of barn panthers are formidable mousers and would make ideal working cats for a farm, riding stable, winery or almost any agri-business that requires rodent control.
If you have room in your heart and barn for this very deserving, sweet, bonded pair please reach out to us at 301-788-1574. Community Kitties has successfully relocated numerous barn cats and we will assist adopters with the relocation process.

Meet Barney & the Barn Cats 🐾

Barney is the gorgeous and athletic 2 year old alpha male of an all-female feral colony. Barney and his eight female friends, including his best pal Peaches, were part of a TNR project we started in 2024 in rural Pennsylvania. After releasing the adult colony members back into the care of a very attentive colony manager, several of the cats became seriously ill with Giardia and some were found deceased. After multiple occurrences, we re-trapped the survivors and moved them into temporary shelter and now seek permanent barn cat placements in pairs or small groups.

Barney and the girls are neutered/spayed, negative for FIV and FeLV, up to date on rabies and distemper vaccinations, dewormed, microchipped, ear-tipped, and current on flea preventative. These cats are formidable mousers and would make ideal working cats for farms, riding stables, wineries or almost any agri-business that requires rodent control.

If you have room in your heart and barn for a few of these healthy, hard-working kitties please do not hesitate to reach out to us at 301-788-1574! Community Kitties has successfully relocated numerous barn cats and we will assist adopters with the relocation relocation process.

Meet Watson & Holmes 🖤🤍🖤
Male l 5 months l neutered

These two brothers were recently recovered from an urban hoarding situation along with their mother, father, and siblings. These well-dressed tuxedo brothers are playful and curious and loving human snuggles. They have tested negative for FIV and FeLV, are microchipped, dewormed, and have had their rabies and first distemper shot.

Meet Pokus 👻 🎃

Male l 1/2 years old l American Short Hair l Neutered

Pokus appeared one afternoon in November on the back porch of one of our volunteers, cold, hungry and without a collar or microchip. He was so very gentle and sweet we knew he must be lost, but after searching unsuccessfully for his family for a month, we concluded that he must have been abandoned. Pokus is a sweet, snuggly and playful little guy, and is always very appreciative of a warm lap and cat food.

Pokus is fully vaccinated, neutered, and negative for FeLV and FIV. His litter box, grooming, and social skills are top-notch.

If you are looking for a kind, submissive, easy going cat to add to your family please consider adopting Pokus. We can’t recommend him enough 🖤 taken in Frederick, Maryland by @communitykitties

Meet Orca 🐳
Male | 2 Years Old | Shorthair Tuxedo

Orca was found in southeast Baltimore with his siblings, Andro and Pixel, living alongside a family of raccoons earning them the nickname the Kitroon 3.
True to his name, Orca has bold black-and-white markings and a big personality to match. He was the sassiest (and shyest) of the trio at first, but over the last couple of years, he’s blossomed into a friendly, affectionate cat who enjoys the company of his humans. He gets along well with dogs and some cats, though he prefers fellow felines who can keep up with his energy and play style. He’s still learning to enjoy being picked up (on his terms, of course) but
he loves to be near people once he feels comfortable.

Would you welcome Orca and his playful energy into your home? taken in Baltimore, Maryland by @communitykitties
