Part 2 of our video series to celebrate reaching 100 members in the Community RePaint Network.

Here we showcase the incredible work of one of those members @sofaproject located in Bristol.

By integrating paint reuse into their other waste saving activities they've helped thousands of members of the local community.

As always, thanks to @duluxuk for the support.

Here's how you can help us stop paint waste this year:

🛒 Next time you need paint, visit your local Community RePaint scheme and buy paint that has been saved from unnecessary disposal.
♻Instead of holding on to your leftover paint until it spoils, pass it on for reuse at one of our drop off points
🙋Your organisation or community group can join our network and bring paint reuse to your local area
🗣 Spread the word about paint reuse with your family and friend, or on your social media, so more and more people can benefit from preloved paint.

Want to get involved? Find out more on our website! Link in Bio.

This fabulous mural was painted using reclaimed paint bought from @communityscrapshack in #stokeontrent.

Reusing paint is the perfect way to save money and get creative all whilst helping to prevent paint waste!

With 50 million litres going for disposal every year in the UK alone, projects like this are the perfect solution. Lets get reusing it!

Thank you so much to @itvnews for sharing the great work of @fromebase one of the amazing members of the Community RePaint network!

Fromebase have recently joined over 150 centres UK-wide where local people can buy preloved paint - saving it from going to waste.

It's a huge win for people and planet, as we all look to prevent waste from surplus, and see it resued instead.

Watch the full interview (link in bio) to see how Frombase are helping to end paint waste for good in their community as well as creating circular systems for all types of DIY 'waste'!

♻️ Recycling Week 2026 is here!
This year's theme is "Rescue Me - Recycle!" and it's all about helping the right items find the right home.
🎨 Got leftover paint? Don't throw it away! Take it to one of our Community RePaint centres, where it can be given a second life.
🤔 Unsure about other tricky items? Head to www.wrap.ngo to find out more about the campaign and learn how to recycle some of the most commonly forgotten household items.

Our second artist interview is with @char_emma who has worked with Pollinator Pathways more than any other artist! 😍

Charlotte was picked for Dream Alley by the local residents who saw her beautiful badger mural on a previous project and wanted something similar 🙌

The finished piece showcases some resident wildlife (owl, badger and fox), with reference images from a local photographer. It doesn’t get much more local than that! 🥰

We’d like to wish our friends at Bright Door Studios all the success there is with their new project!

We are glad that we are in a position to help them by donating all the paint we could for their renovation prior to officially opening in a few weeks time!

Good luck 🤞🏻 guys!

This four-legged Community RePaint supporter is helping us spread an important message: good paint deserves a second chance.
Every year, millions of litres of perfectly usable paint go to waste. By donating leftover paint or choosing reused paint for your next project, you can help keep valuable resources in use and out of disposal.
Thanks to communities across the UK, 6.6 million litres of paint have been reused through Community RePaint. That's millions of litres diverted from waste and countless homes, community spaces and projects given a fresh new look. 🏡♻️
Whether you're donating surplus paint, picking up an affordable option for your next decorating project, or simply helping spread the word, you're part of a growing community making a difference. 🐶💙
