Between 1959 and 2001, the Isley Brothers racked up 38 Top 100 hits, but none bigger than "It's Your Thing" in 1969, which soared to #2 on the charts and won them a Grammy Award — cementing their reputation as funk and soul pioneers!

✨️ "Twist and Shout" ✨️is a rock 'n' roll standard!!

Released in 1962 on the Wand label, the Isley Brothers' version of "Twist and Shout" turned into one of the most electrifying and influential singles of the era — later famously covered by the Beatles — and is still considered one of rock's most revolutionary songs.

🔥🔥🔥JIMI HENDRIX was once the ISLEY BROTHER'S guitarist🔥🔥🔥

Before he became a rock legend in his own right, Jimi Hendrix played as a backing guitarist for the Isley Brothers in the mid-1960s. When the Isley Brothers were inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1992, it was fittingly the same year Hendrix's own legacy was being celebrated alongside them.
