I had a blast with family and friends at the @grandnationalroadstershow this year. We had two new cars show up with Bryn’s Nomad and Nicks 36 Ford and a handful of older jobs there all built by @southcityrodandcustom Thank you @campi_the_magnificent and @39airflow for all of your hard work on getting those cars done! I was also honored with being inducted in to the GNRS Hall of Fame this year. Bill Ganahl wrote the best induction speech of all time as he was the one chosen to jump me in to the gang, thank you Bill! I still can’t believe it and it’s hard for me to put in to words how fortunate I feel to be included with such an incredible group of people. I have been very fortunate to have had a lot of love and support from some amazing people during this ride and I could have never made it this far with out them. I’m looking forward to dropping my daughters off at school tomorrow and starting fresh in the shop this week! Special thanks to Ryan as well for the amazing original @speedluck art he had done as a surprise for me, it completely blew me away! by @companicolor

Put about 100 miles on my Camaro today, had a blast taking my buddy Zak and @campi_the_magnificent for a little memorial cruise for Zak’s brother from another mother, Joe Rock. Good thing I put the winter shoes on the day started out blue skies but ended up driving about 50 miles of it in the rain. #JoeRockForever #california #sfbayarea by @companicolor

We sent this original drivetrain Hugger Orange SS 396 1969 Chevelle home to be plumbed, wired and fired a couple months ago. We inherited the unfinished project that was started somewhere else as a complete basket case. Chris @39airflow took on the huge task of replacing almost every single panel on it except for the roof skin, A pillars and inner quarter structures and did a killer job on it! Another one brought back from the dead! This was a huge project and these pictures are just a brief summary of what we did to it here. As always I want to give a big thank you to Chris and Ryan @campi_the_magnificent for all of their hard work on it. As much as people hate on aftermarket parts I’m sure glad they are available. Also thank you to @djdesigns for the killer job on the headliner and vinyl top! @satausainc spray guns @glasurit_official and @rogue_custom_finishes products were all used to get us across the finish line. by @companicolor

A couple weeks ago Chris @39airflow and myself got to play with our new @tin_mans_garage planishing hammer unit on the final metal setup on the nomad that we are doing for @southcityrodandcustom. What a bad ass tool, we got shape and strength in to the notoriously soft roof skin in no time. The only thing I regret about buying this hammer is that I didn’t buy it years ago! Even got to do a little work on the quarters and fenders with it. That’s Chris in the video dialing in the roof. Next month marks 20 years of solely working on classic cars for me. I started 5 years before that working on my own stuff and in a collision shop. I’ve been fortunate to work on a lot of stuff in those 25 years! I don’t usually think back about stuff but I’ve been slowly gathering pictures of the completes we’ve done through out the years, I think we’re at around 110 of them. I’m a few days late and a couple dollars short on this but the @grandnationalroadstershow weekend ruled. Lots of killer cars but most importantly a lot of fun with great friends and my dad. Big thank you to @campi_the_magnificent and @39airflow for cranking out the @davekroona 33 Willy’s with me for @southcityrodandcustom. Thank you @ericreyesdesign for the beautiful striping work!
