NY—> LA Road Trip! 🚙 Started in Buffalo, then Pennsylvania, stopped in Cleveland to see my friend @nicolecapuana, healthy road snacks, made it to @10thstreetdiner in Indianapolis Indiana just in time to pick up dinner!!! When did we stop encouraging each other??? I was doing my Full Moon Releases and Setting Intentions and there were 3 boys loudly playing in the water nearby. At first I was annoyed, I wanted quiet. But then a voice reminded me we are always in the right place. So I started listening to them. (They were really loud and didn’t realize the water carries your voice.) I’m not sure what games they were playing, jumping, holding their breath, but they were counting and ENCOURAGING EACH OTHER to push their limits! One said, “no don’t stop we can’t do it without you,” another was heard “you can do it I believe in you!” This continued for over half an hour and it almost made me cry with joy. The message crashed over me like a tidal wave and I thought, when did we stop encouraging one another? Especially our friends, our peers? When did competition begin to be the #1 game?? In business, in our communities, in politics, when did we trade in WE for ME? It made me nostalgic for the innocence of our youth but also determined to create more of it in my adult life. This is your reminder to find your tribe, seek out your community. If you don’t feel loved or appreciated where you are, by golly go out and CREATE it - Change Your Life, Rewrite Your Story ✍️ 🌊 ✌🏽 🌕 by @compassion_be_dope

PART 3 of 3 - Demonstrating my 6 month journey wearing DynaSplints to bed to improve mobility after my elbow fracture and surgery! 💪🏼 I am incredibly grateful for these devices as they absolutely saved me, occupational therapy was great but it was not enough! I still did OT twice a week and at-home exercises multiple times a day. If you’ve had an injury and want to increase your mobility, even if it’s been a while since surgery, I highly recommend talking to your Orthopedic and checking them out!
