"🍼 In Tanzania, whether a baby makes it can come down to a can of formula.

At Kulea Villages, a program called Maisha Matters provides formula every week to babies who lost their mothers during childbirth, or whose mothers cannot produce enough milk. Grandmothers, aunts, and fathers step in to raise them, and many of these families simply cannot afford what it takes to feed a baby. The program is caring for sets of twins, triplets, and quadruplets right now.

Every week the babies are weighed. Families receive health teaching. Volunteers visit homes to make sure each baby is safe.

CSi is opening a campaign to help keep formula on those shelves, and we will be sharing more over the next two weeks about what it costs and what your gift does.

Compassion is more than a word.

It looks like dignity, mercy, service, hope, generosity, faith, and relief.

At CSi, compassion means seeing suffering and responding with practical help and the love of Christ. ❤️

Before help reaches a family, there is preparation.

Supplies are gathered. Trips are planned. Teams are trained. Prayers are lifted. Details are organized.

Behind every mission is a group of people choosing to serve with compassion and carry hope where it is needed. 🌍

Access to basic medical care is not available everywhere.

Through medical missions, CSi helps bring care, compassion, and hope to communities where the need is great.

Every treatment, every prayer, and every act of kindness reminds someone that they are seen, valued, and loved by God. ❤️

This is where help meets hope.

Food meets hunger. Medicine meets sickness. Prayer meets weariness. Compassion meets suffering.

Through CSi, practical aid becomes a way to share God’s love with the poor, sick, and suffering around the world. 🌍

Today, we pray for peace in nations facing war, unrest, displacement, and loss.

We pray for families longing for safety, children growing up in uncertainty, and communities in need of healing.

Lord, let Your peace reach places of fear, and let compassion move us to respond. 🌍

CSI was honored to partner with 32 members of The Life Church – Dallas, led by Pastor Shay Mann, for a life-changing mission trip to Guatemala. This trip was made possible by Compassion Sunday giving.

The team served at Home International orphanage, rolling up their sleeves and making a tremendous impact throughout the facility. Together, they painted two buildings, provided tile for the exterior of a group home, cleaned gutters throughout the property, and decluttered and organized much-needed supply rooms.

But the trip was about much more than completing projects.

The team also conducted a special worship service just for the children, creating an opportunity to minister, worship, and simply spend time loving on them.

And after the work and worship were complete, there was still plenty of energy left! Many members of the team joined the children for a high-spirited soccer match filled with laughter and memories that will last long after the trip.

We are incredibly thankful for The Life Church and their willingness to serve. Thank you for being the hands and feet of CSI—and, most importantly, the hands and feet of Jesus—on this very special mission. by @compassion_services

When crisis strikes, simple supplies can bring comfort, dignity, and relief.

A relief kit may include items like hygiene supplies, food, medicine, clothing, blankets, and other essentials that help families through difficult days.

Compassion often begins with meeting the need right in front of us. 🤲
