First glimpse of my new watercolor and cyanotype collage series, In Orbit. The planet Turavine is a charming cosmic community - dotted with tiny white plants, collaged houses with candy-colored roofs, and orbiting moons made from cyanotype fragments with a hint of sparkle.💫💙

Turavine will be available once matted. Size: 7” x 7” (unmatted).

I create these cyanotype landscapes from paper cut houses, pressed botanicals, photo negatives, watercolor, and whatever else feels right in the moment💙
This one was inspired by Joshua Tree and that feeling of looking up at the night sky in awe, letting my imagination run wild 🌙

Can you see the subtle heart? I started painting the cyanotype emulsion in a heart shape, didn’t like it, and switched to a square…not realizing the heart had already started drying. So it still showed up after developing as this darker area in the background. I kind of love that it stayed - feels like it was meant to be there.

Peach blossom fairy queen.🧚🏻 I made this piece for myself…a bit of whimsy for my desk and a reminder to make time for daydreams.✨

I have a theory about this little village…🍄✨

There’s no ladder, which means the houses must be for fairies, right?🧚‍♀️

Swipe through to see how this whimsical daydream came together.💙

A little mushroom magic for spooky season.🍄🦇✨

I love what happens when watercolor and cyanotype meet. The iridescent watercolor on the mushrooms catches the light in the prettiest way.

Swipe through to see the process behind this one. 💙

Somewhere deep in the forest, a little ghost is drifting through the trees…👻🌙

This is one of the Mini Cyanoscapes from my Spooky Season collection, where the woods are a little darker, the nights a little stranger, and there may be a ghost or two along the way.✨

Swipe through to see how this little cyanotype scene came together.💙

Available on my website! Self-standing acrylic frame, cyanotype drawstring pouch, gift box and shipping are included.

Something small and spooky… 👻🦇🌙

Available now! A new collection of Spooky Season Mini Cyanoscapes, filled with ghosts, bats, creepy forests, haunted houses, and a little bit of magic.✨

Like the Moonshadow collection, they’re 2”x2”, come in an acrylic, self-standing frame, and I’m adding a bonus cyanotype drawstring bag.

Totally unrelated, but do you see the purple flower on the cactus in the background? Yesterday I discovered it’s a dried flower that’s hot glued on! What the heck?!?! I bought it at the local plant store. It’s a real cactus with dried flowers glued on.🤨

Tiny canvas, big texture.🎨✨

I had fun breaking in my new mini palette knives for this lil’ 3”x4” abstract landscape.

I transformed a fallen ginkgo leaf into a moth.🦋

I split the leaf partway to create the wings, split the stem to make antennae, and pressed it in a book before turning it into this moonlit moth cyanotype.🌙

And because I couldn’t resist, I added a few stars and moon sequins right onto the wings for some extra shimmer. ✨

Swipe through to see how it came together. 👉
