Four years ago, Ryan Ridge joined the Compete Training Academy family as a basketball trainer. @ryrid_ge

Today, he is so much more than a basketball coach.

**You really CAN.**

You can leave your job.
You can start the business.
You can write the book.
You can go back to school.
You can change careers.
You can move.
You can build something from nothing.
You can bet on yourself.
You can start over.
You can chase the dream that won’t leave you alone.

You really CAN.

But here’s what nobody tells you:

It probably won’t look like you thought it would.

There will be uncertainty.
There will be sacrifice.
There will be people who don’t understand.
There will be many old identities you leave behind.
There will be moments when you question whether you heard God correctly.

And you may have to walk before you can see the entire path.

I know because I’ve lived it.

The dream didn’t come with a 5-year plan.

Sometimes faith isn’t knowing exactly where you’re going.

It was a full circle moment for me — as Tyler was my assistant coach in college and we have remained best friends since 2010.
