Metro Bluefin Tuna Bonanza off Rockingham

@cacwrockingham staff member Sam headed out targeting bluefin tuna out from Rockingham recently. Putting the @yakamito Slim Minnow 160 though its paces, it was instant action. These lures troll exceptionally well in both the short and long corner up to 9 knots. Rigged with 4 x strong Konan Trebles, they are built tough with FULL-THROUGH wire for taming then toughest of pelagics.
Once the tuna hit the surface, it was back into the action casting the Yakamito Speed Demon in the 20g size when the fish were playing hard to get. by @compleatanglerulladulla

On this weekend at 'The Milton Hotel' is a Catch & Cook masterclass, hosted by Zac Panaretos (Fishing World), Damien Martin (Owner/ head chef Milton Hotel), & Bosley McGee.
The evening will share key knowledge on how to get the most out of your catch, with live demonstrations & tutorials on techniques such as- Ike Jike, bleeding, Shinkei Jime, handling & ice slurries.
The evening will be finished with a meal provided by Produce Award winner Craig Lukey from SouEast Seafoods. Craig has become famous for providing some of Australia's leading restaurants with blue mackerel.
Fishing folk often only use this fish as bait, labelling it
"slimy mackerel". We plan on changing your perception.
Take less, taste more.
WHEN: Sunday 11th October, 2 - 6 pm
WHERE: Milton Pub, Home of Dangerous Ales
