I asked you guys for your favourite fake dating romances and you REALLY came through!! 😂💘

Ever since reading The Love Hypothesis, fake dating has become one of my new favourite romance tropes. I fear there’s just something about two people pretending to be in love whilst slowly falling for each other that gets me EVERY time 🥹

September was a VERY mixed reading month 😂📚

Some new favourites and a couple that didn’t quite hit 😅🤷🏽‍♀️

The Bright Years absolutely destroyed me (I’m still spontaneously crying 2 weeks later) and easily took the top spot… while The Love Hypothesis reminded me why I love a good romance so much 🥹

12 books read and a 2⭐️ to 5⭐️ range feels like a pretty accurate representation of my reading right now tbh.

I’m clearly in my Julie Olivia era 🍂🧡

If It Makes You Happy was one of my favourite romances I’ve read last year, so when I got the chance to pick up Love Felt Like This I was VERY excited 🤭👀

If It Makes You Happy has that small town, found family, nostalgic feeling that I absolutely love... think Gilmore Girls 90s nostalgia and a hot baker next door 👀🍂🧡

Love Felt Like This follows Beverly, a children’s TV creator trying to bring her show back to life, and Griffin, a grumpy rockstar and single dad who somehow ends up helping her along the way 🎸❤️👀

I’ve just finished this one too, so full review coming very soon 👀

Honestly, @julieoliviaauthor just knows how to make me want to move into the fictional town and become best friends with everyone 🤭
