Welcome to Complete.

As we step into this next chapter, we wanted to put into writing something that has always been at the heart of our academy — who we are, what we stand for, and the standards we expect from everyone who calls Complete home.

Complete has never been about simply teaching martial arts.

Our goal is to build exceptional martial artists while helping develop good human beings — people who are disciplined, resilient, honest, respectful, hardworking and willing to look after those around them.

Our members aren't numbers. They're our teammates, friends, brothers, sisters, mothers, fathers, sons and daughters.

This handbook outlines the culture we are committed to protecting, what our members and parents can expect from us, and what we ask in return from every person who walks through our doors.

Some of these standards are simple. Some are firm. But every one of them exists for a reason — to create a safe, structured, professional and welcoming environment where people can learn, grow and genuinely enjoy being part of the community.

No one is above these standards because of their rank, ability, competitive success, friendship with a coach or how long they've been with us.

The standard applies to all of us — including our coaches.

Please take a few minutes to swipe through, read it properly and understand what it means to be part of Complete.

Great martial arts. Great people.

Humanity first. Martial arts second.

Welcome to Complete.

A NEW ERA 👑👑👑

As we open the doors to our new world-class facility in Keilor Park, we’re proud to introduce our new Adults Timetable and begin the next chapter for the Complete community.

Complete has always been about more than just training. It’s about the friendships built on the mats, the people who push each other to improve, the coaches who genuinely care, and having a place where everyone — from someone walking in for their very first session to an experienced competitor — feels like they belong.

Our new timetable brings together Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Wrestling and Kickboxing, with more opportunities to train, learn and grow alongside an incredible group of people.

We’ve poured everything into creating a facility and program that our community can be proud to call home, and we can’t wait to finally welcome everyone through the doors.

New home. New chapter. Same Complete family. 🖤

Every detail of this program has been carefully structured to provide our students with the coaching, training environment and opportunities they need to reach their potential.

We’ve poured everything into creating an exceptional academy for our team, our families and our community, and we’re incredibly excited to finally share it with you.

If your opponent starts checking your low kicks on the outside thigh just attack the inside thigh by kicking under the block.

By stepping across when you throw the lead hook it removes the threat of the opponent’s cross, while simultaneously creating the angle for the frame & low kick.

No-Gi Europeans - 6 matches - 5 wins and 1 loss 🥈 (middle weight - 100 man bracket)

Competing at such a prestigious competition and being able to podium was such a blast and great experience.

This trip did come with its challenges as I had contemplated competing since I had a grade 2 tear in a ligament in my elbow from pan pacs 2 weeks ago. After my 22 hour flight, my elbow flared up really bad to the point where I told myself I am not gonna compete. After eating a pizza and some gelato it got to a point where it was usable so I had chugged some anti inflammatory pills.

This played a role in my finals loss as I couldn't really feel the urge to vomit and uncontrolably vomitted as a result.

This resulted in me getting dqed (pretty fair) and was pretty upsetting to lose in such a way. Other than that, i felt great and was very competitive in my finals run to a great opponent.

Big thanks to my nutrionist @jizelnutrition for helping me cut the weight and optimize my diet to maximise my performance. I highly recommend if you need to cut or diet plan to work with her.

Thanks to my awesome sponsor @humble_fightwear for providing me with my kit (Code SHAMIL10 on checkout).

All of this wouldn't be possible without my awesome coaches @sirajsoufimma @cupcake_bjj for helping me evolve my jiu jitsu to a point where it doesn't matter whether I am playing guard or passing, I feel like I can beat anyone at these tournements.

Thanks to my team @completemixedmartialarts for always supporting me and encouraging me to compete despite the challenges.

Lastly, my brother really helped me out this trip and I wouldn't of had the support and courage to compete in such an intense environement.

Thanks for reading my yap
