This beautiful and powerful short film was a pleasure to score last year. Directed by the wonderful Kiki Shervington-White this took me back to my home town of Birmingham. “Closer to Go(o)d?, a new short Afro-surrealist inspired film that draws from participatory workshops undertaken with working-class Black and ethnically diverse communities in Birmingham, with the aim of promoting a demystifying, radical, ethical approach to responsible AI, centred on care and community.” #ai #shortfilms #birmingham #composer by @composerpetemills

What an absolutely legendary night. Too Many Zooz smashing it left right and centre and the Jazz Cafe in Camden. If you get a chance to check them out, don’t hesitate!
