⚠️ STOP SCROLLING⚠️

Some records are just collections of songs.

SUNDOWN is a chapter of my life.

Every late night, every disappointment, every victory, every doubt, every relationship, every mile driven to another show, every moment I questioned why I was still doing this found its way onto this album.

For years I've been chasing a sound that felt completely honest. I can finally say I found it.

On August 14th, my new solo record SUNDOWN is yours. No features. No gimmicks. Only me.

Available on all streaming platforms, CD, and for the first time in my career, a full-length Comptalo album on vinyl.

If you've been following this journey from the beginning, thank you. This record exists because I refused to quit, and because so many of you believed in what I was building even when I questioned it myself.

Special thank you to the one and only @praise_mode.913 ✝️ and the most talented/successful musician i know @dan.et.music for helping me make this album as cohesive and jaw dropping as it could get. These were the only other set of hands on this project throughout its 2 year creation time.

Pre-order your vinyl and CD today:
www.elasticstage.com/comptalo

The sun is setting on one chapter.

A new one begins on August 14th. 🌅

The History Of Mister C. Is available on @scrybestreaming 🌅

Every person who’s crossed my path in music has shaped the artist I am today.

The good, the bad, the wins, the failures, the people who believed in me and the ones who made me question myself.

Every trial and error taught me something.

I spent years trying to figure out who the hell Comptalo was.

Turns out, every version of me was necessary to become this one.

🎶 8.TILL DEATH, THIS IS OUR TIME”

This one is about running away.

Sometimes you know you’re doing the wrong thing, but you do it anyway. You convince yourself that leaving is easier. That distance will fix everything. That maybe you can outrun what you’re feeling.

But you can’t outrun love.

No matter how far you go.
No matter how much you try to bury it.
No matter how badly you want to convince yourself it’s over.

Love always finds a way to prevail.

“Till Death, This Is Our Time” is one of those songs where the story isn’t necessarily about making the right choice.

It’s about realizing what still matters when everything else falls away.

Making Comptalo a band was one of the most fulfilling chapters of my career.

It gave me experiences, relationships, and memories I’ll always appreciate. But eventually, it became a hindrance to my artistry.

Too many cooks in the kitchen. Too many opinions. Too many compromises.

It wasn’t a mistake. It just ran its course.

I had to move on and get back to making Comptalo exactly how I see it.

No more cooks. Just me and the kitchen. 🍳🌅
