☄️☄️☄️ CHRIS GERBER & ALJALJ - LONG ISLAND ICE TEA ☄️☄️☄️

An absolute pleasure getting to do a feature with @chrisgerber.mp3 and @aljalj.mp3 on their incredible release ‘Long Island Ice Tea’ EP out today. 💿💿

When we heard this EP we were instantly hooked and keen to hear some insights into their production process. Four lovely tracks - lush, housey, effortless and bass-heavy grooves layered with silky dubby chords ever evolving throughout. Loving the seamless progressions and sense of live performance throughout the whole EP where each track is continuously building. A great balance of sounds too, with 3 club-ready heaters and a tranquil ambient gem to end the release on.

This feature heavily focuses on the collaborative process between the two with their analogue and hands on process while in the studio together.

Loads of interesting insights on production, inspiration and how their collaboration came to be. Perfect timing for Bandcamp Friday too. Enjoy and check the full vinyl/digi release out on the Chris’ label @computertoys Bandcamp!

This Friday it’s finally time! We’d love to celebrate the release of CT007 by @chrisgerber.mp3 and @aljalj.mp3 with you at @broncoshannover! It’s going to be the occasion to witness aljalj not once, but TWICE.

We’re gonna start slowly at Broncos Bar with an ambient live-set before heading through the door and into the club for more hip-friendly DJ and live sets.

We’d highly recommend coming early, checking out the records and getting your ears tingled by some spacious soundscapes!

The first shades of green are back, and this one flows right along with it. We’re happy to share this smooth contribution to our Broadcasting Service by @marlon.margiela. Based in Hannover, he blends vinyl and digital selections into a warm journey through timeless groovers, leaning into a smooth west coast feel. In this mix, Marlon is keeping things moving with ease from start to finish – no rush. 🍃 by @computertoys

The air feels different and the days are stretching. On March 13, we follow the hum to @disco_zwei! We’re welcoming @leaocchi – co-founder and resident of Paris’ queer collective Spectrum Waves. With her sound moving between organic techno and smooth minimal house, she and CT label programmer @chrisgerber.mp3 craft a night built for hips and hearts – thoughtful and driving!

PS: She is playing her first Panorama Bar closing on Monday morning – have the best time, Lea!
