The black panther party NEW YORK CITY CHAPTER 🗽
POSTS STORIES REELS
Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom We need to come together as ONE. OUR Community is OUR Responsibility and Ours ONLY!! The change we want to see in the world/society, all stems from what we’re willing to do about it and following through with that. We must pour time & love into our communities in order for them to thrive. Look out for our youth, answer questions, and become that positive role model FOR THEM if not for yourself. We can do it, we all have time if we make. All Power to the People✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽, No Power to the slave catchers❌🐷 #blackpanther #blackpower #unify #people #freedom by @comrade_ghost43

Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom‼️ THE Police cannot legally Stalk you, but they can conduct covert surveillance or follow you if they have a valid legal reason. For example, officers can tail your vehicle or monitor your movements if they have reasonable suspicion of a crime or probable cause supported by a warrant. However, if police are following, watching, or harassing you repeatedly for no legitimate law enforcement purpose, it constitutes police harassment or misconduct. Before the NYC Chapter left Chester, PA, we felt like we were being followed on the way to attend a family event. Lo and behold, a slave catcher pulled up in front of the restaurant a few minutes after we arrived. Not because they were called for someone who needed help, but because we’ve been on their radar. The one that pulled up, was on the phone for the entirety of his stay, and he called for a second officer to pull up, to do absolutely nothing. This is not to put fear in anyone’s heart to do what we do, but it is to give yall a reality check about how distorted the priorities are of these slave catchers. They aren’t trying to find missing children, solving a murder, deescalate altercations, help someone’s grandmother run errands, or anything beneficial for the people. Instead they’re out here stalking citizens who feed, protect, and clothe their community. This shouldn’t frighten you to the point that you think you shouldn’t do anything, but it should enrage to doing everything you can to contribute to the Death of Imperialism, so we can have FREEDOM one day. Only as a COLLECTIVE we will be able to dismantle this racist, vile, & capitalistic entity we call America. Yesterday, we had our monthly meeting at HQ. While patrolling, we were notified that there is a predominantly white police department (who uses Klan tactics), that is stationed in a Black community. The slave catchers are known for removing residents off the basketball courts & arresting them unjustly. We headed over there immediately to patrol the neighborhood. As we reached the park section, the locals are providing us with water and food, that we were so grateful for; the slave catchers pulled up, obstructing traffic. They tried to insinuate that we had broken a law by going onto the park since it was “Township Property” even though their sign does NOT say ‘no weapons or guns’ Chairman Paul also confronted them about how they’ve been treating the community they’re supposed to be serving. After they ended the conversation, the slave catchers called several units, and met at a church in the same complex. They went there trying to bait us since we legally cannot go onto church or school properties with guns. We thanked the people who fed us, and those in support, then we left to divert the slave catchers away from the families. Throughout our patrol several kids, parents, young adults, and elderly came up to us to learn how they can defend themselves and their families. Our presence gives them a sense of protection and hope. Unlike the slave catchers, they’re comfortable to approach us, ask questions, and be inspired to guard their own communities because that’s YOUR RIGHT!!!!! We must stick together brothers and sisters, OUR community is OUR responsibility ONLY! All Power to the People✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽, No Power to the Slave Catchers❌🐷! All Power to the People✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽!! Our Community is Our Responsibility & Ours Only!! Comrade Ghost wanted to share the encounter he had today with y’all because he wanted to remind you all that there is strength in community and in our youth!! It is up to US to make sure our upcoming generations are better than us, and that first starts with being understanding and giving them a mutual respect to feel safe enough to be transparent with you. It is up to us to create safer communities with better men and women to protect each other against ANYONE who breaches the people’s peace. Don’t give up on our youth!! WE must be the example we want them to follow!! WE must change our ways to relate and understand them so they want to learn from us. Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom!! Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽 NYC’s first Community Outreach Patrol was amazing!! We met a lot of wonderful people at beautiful events, that we happened to stumble across. The American Indian Movement and many urban Native American groups came together to cultivate a safe space for them and for others to learn, since they are not federally recognized. In addition, we met some passionate brothers & sisters who also fight for the people and taught us some things as well, whom we hope to connect with more in the future!! Our Comrade, @comrade_chineduozah , was unlawfully arrested over a month ago. He was initially approached for the length of his knife, even though there is no knife length restrictions in Chester, PA and Chinedu knew that. So he continued walking away from the slave catchers & they charged him with resisting arrest. He had a hearing recently where he had the chance to cop out and plead guilty for a crime he didn’t commit, but he persisted in wanting to prove his innocence and expose the corruption within this county. Comrade Chinedu continues to show no fear and uphold Panther decorum within those walls. Saying “Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom!! I’m all good Comrade” We will continue going strong for our comrade & for the People!! @cmpradio_ All Power to the People✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽, No Power to the slave catchers❌🐷 #newyorkcity #blackpanther #paulbirdsong #pantherz by @comrade_ghost43
All Power to the People✊🏿✊🏾✊🏽! With the heightened Ice & Police Brutality across the U.S., particularly in NYC, it is important for EVERYBODY to know their 1st, 4th, & 5th Amendment Rights if they have encounters with NYPD, ICE, & any other Military Officials roaming the city!! Continue to record and report ICE Officers in NYC, that is 100% legal as long as you don’t “interfere” We have the Freedom of Press, assembly, and speech in our First Amendment. WE MUST CONTINUE TO EXERCISE OUR RIGHTS WHILE WE STILL GOT THEM. Recruitment for NYC Chapter is open for those who want to join to take care of our communities and contribute to the Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom. If you’re interested you can contact @secretary_comradenylamar for more information!! 1st, 4th, & 5th Amendments Below👇🏽⬇️ 1st Amendment: Congress shall make NO law respecting an establishment of religion, or PROHIBITING the free exercise of thereof; or abridging the Freedom of Speech; or of the Press; or of the Right of the People Peaceably to assemble, and to Petition the Government for a Redress of Grievances. 4th Amendment: THE RIGHT of the People to be secure in their persons, houses, etc., against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall NOT be violated and NO Warrants shall issue, BUT UPON PROBABLE CAUSE, supported by Oath or affirmation, particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. 5th Amendment: NO PERSON shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in any criminal case to be a witness against himself, NOR BE DEPRIVED of life, liberty, or property, WITHOUT due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation. by @comrade_ghost43
Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom Today a comrade and I saw some slave catchers parked up on the side walk/entrance of an apartment complex. They had their lights on for no reason and we decided to see what they were doing here since families & residents should be able to feel comfortable chilling outside of their home without being under constant surveillance When our interaction began the officer’s body cam was not on. This is why you should always record police interactions for your own safety. Slave catcher was talking about we want fame knowing a video is our protection, and he didn’t bother to turn his cam on until he was asked for his card. Free Our National Chairman Paul Birdsong, who has been unjustly arrested and has had his Eighth Amendment Rights potentially violated. We are seeking any evidence from witnesses to please be shared with @comradetajh His bond is set at $7,500 for him to be released, if anyone is able to contribute we appreciate it! Death to Imperialism, Life to Freedom After duty, two brothers called out to us to see if we heard about an incident that occurred an hour earlier, which we were unaware of. A man (who appeared to be having a mental health episode) was asking people for a dollar when he approached a lady for one, and she waved the officers down. Without a statement from that woman, the slave catchers tackled, brutalized, and used excessive force on that man. He was arrested and witnesses said if anything, he just needed a wellness check from a licensed mental health professional. Once the comrade and I were made aware of this, we headed to the 24th precinct on 100th st with 2 witnesses & video evidence to see if there was a possibility to release him. Unfortunately after this discourse, the 24th precinct said he was not there because the arresting officer is not one of theirs, even though this is within their jurisdiction. They told us officers from PSA6 could have him but are unsure. At the moment we do not know the brother’s name who was arrested, but want to ensure he gets justice and these slave catchers are held accountable. 🚨Disclaimer🚨 CONSISTENTLY check your local laws because everyday they’re trying to silently take our rights! We were unaware at the moment that NYC’s Right to Film Act was recently changed at the end of June, now allowing slave catchers to deny your ability to record police activity within the precinct lobby, which was once legal.
