Tory leader Kemi Badenoch says she will ban benefits claimants from spending their welfare payments on alcohol, cigarettes and gambling.

Under Conservative plans, jobseekers claiming Universal Credit would also only receive six months of full benefit payments to help them find work. Once that period ends, only individuals with a multi-year history of paying into the tax system would remain eligible for the full payout rate.

Those who have not would have their UC standard rate slashed by a third and the payment would be loaded onto a “back to work” pre-payment card, which would ban spending on cigarettes, alcohol, betting and cash withdrawals.

Mrs Badenoch said: “Some will say this is unfair on people claiming benefits. What is unfair is a system where someone who can work chooses not to and earns more from benefits than someone in a job.

“If you can work, you should work. Helping people into work is not punishment. The best welfare is a well-paid job. So, we will be tough on those who exploit the system because the current system is unfair to workers, taxpayers and those who truly need support. We should not be borrowing from our children and grandchildren to support people who simply refuse to work.

“Welfare must be a safety net for those who genuinely need it, not a lifestyle choice for those who can’t be bothered.”

Labour founder, Keir Hardie, was known to blame ‘Jewish capitalists’ for promoting ‘imperialist wars’.

Oswald Mosley – leader of the British Union of Fascists was a Labour MP from 1926 to 1931.

Anti-Israel and pro-Palestinian positions grew more prominent from the 60s onward.

Jeremy Corbyn, while still a member of the Labour Party, has in the past referred to Hamas and Hezbollah as ‘friends’ (“In 2009, during a meeting about the Middle East crisis held in the UK Parliament, Corbyn stated that he welcomed ‘our friends from Hezbollah’ and noted he had invited representatives from Hamas to speak”. Why did the Archbishop of Canterbury honour a Muslim cleric who gave Bin Laden a ‘Sword of God’ award?

The man on the right is Hafiz Tahir Ashraf I. He is the chairman of the Pakistan Ulema Council - a group of Islamic scholars.

The lady next to him is his wife.

Six years after the 9/11 terrorist attack, Ashrafi honoured Bin Laden with a ‘Sword of God’ award.

You would think that would have been the end of him. But in broken Britain, it isn’t.

Here is the Church of England providing him with an award for Reconciliation and Interfaith Cooperation.

Which they awarded to him on… the anniversary of 9/11.

They’ve lost the plot, just like the rest of our politicians.
