As I conclude my experienceship with the West Michigan Whitecaps through the EICOP HBCU in MiLB/MLB program, I am truly lost for words. What began as an opportunity to explore the sports industry quickly became one of the most transformative professional development experiences I have ever had.Over the course of this experience, I had the opportunity to immerse myself in the day to day operations that make professional sports and entertainment possible. Every department showed me how much intention, creativity, and collaboration it takes to bring a baseball organization to life. This experienceship expanded my understanding of what a career in sports entertainment can look like and pushed me to dream even bigger for myself. As someone interested in media, public relations, entertainment, and storytelling, seeing how all of these pieces intersect in professional sports showed me just how limitless this industry can be.Thank you to my @whitecaps family 💙💙💙 by @con8tance
