I’m beyond blessed and excited to announce my commitment to continue my academic and baseball career at the University of Nevada Las Vegas. Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates, and everyone who has supported me along the way. I also want to thank Coach Garritano, Coach Jaffe, Coach Gidge, and the entire UNLV coaching staff for giving me this opportunity. Go Rebels ❤️🩶 #committed #unlvbaseball by @con_mcd27

‘28 RHP Connor McDonald (Palo Verde/Canes American)

FB: 84-86, 86.4 mph
CB: 65-68 mph (2050)
SL: 72-75 mph (2200)
CH: 71-74 mph

The right hander stood stall against a stout Arizona lineup, striking out 4 over his 2 IP with his polished four pitch mix, commanding each in the zone with velo continuing to climb from the HS Season to the Las Vegas Top Prospect Games to the Future Games. Keep an eye on McDonald as a player to continue trending as he adds strength to his lean 6’2/155 frame #BeSeen by @con_mcd27

‘28 RHP Connor McDonald (Palo Verde)

FB - 82-84, commands in/out
CB - 70-71, more 12/6
SL - 72-75, late tighter action
CH- 70-72, locates down in zone

The sophomore right-hander cruises through his first 4 IP against a stout Centennial lineup, allowing just 2 hits while striking out 4. Present pitchability, throws all of his pitches for strikes, nothing straight #BeSeen by @con_mcd27
