A little more tweaking in Lightroom after my “quick edit “ this morning. Much happier with this 🥰⛪️🙌🏻🍓
Thanks to @knighton_day_photography who loves a good alignment chase!

I had the absolute pleasure to photograph Angela from Salon Chic here in Aurora! This talented salon entrepreneur has been making people look amazing for a long time in the Aurora area!

I’m currently working on photographing more female entrepreneurs to showcase the smart, talented & beautiful women in our community!
You will find my studio set up at the “Oh Yes We Can- After Dark” event on October 29th!
A full evening of inspiring speakers, dinner & vendors for women!

A single maple leaf may seem small, but its representation of our country is huge!
I desaturated the ground to make the red pop & stand out like we Canadians do 🍁🇨🇦
Fall is definitely the season our leaf comes alive!!

I love driving through tree lined roads through fall colors!
To achieve this shot , I had to get in the middle of the road , crouched down & pay attention to the sounds of oncoming cars & cars behind me!
No spotter on this outing ! Just tuned my ears better!
Post edit : pop the colours a little & keep the moody vibe with some contrast !

This cathedral has has been my subject on a few occasions over the last 2 years as I photographed it for sunset & moonrise !
This is the same cathedral I posted with the cherry moon alignment that was on display at the Art Gallery of Georgina & my recent booth display for “Lights On” art & music festival presented by @porchlightarts & @micakgallery .
Thanks to my friend @knighton_day_photography who plans these outings with some serious skill!
Most people do not realize the time dedicated to a final image with planning, set up, the shoot itself, the driving, and post processing…..and that’s just the image! If you’re getting it printed for an art exhibit or a client, or even your own wall-finding a place to get it printed is a task unto its own!!
But it’s all so worth it 📷📷🥰🥰 taken in Cathedral of the Transfiguration by @conacherphotography

2yrs ago today I experienced one of the most phenomenal nights when I saw the Aurora Borealis live in Kawarthas with @knighton_day_photography & @andreatunall .
The alerts were going crazy on my app & Robin got to the meeting place a little before me. I thought I was going to miss it!
You could see the green hue with a naked eye, but once my camera was set up-those vibrant colors began to dance in through my lens! Every time I looked up, there were more & more dancing above our head & over the lake!
We were squealing with excitement at the magical show unfolding around us!
Mother Nature blowing us away with this spectacular show !!!

Wanted to share more of our Spain/Portugal trip from the summer. This little town of Toledo was just under an hour outside of Madrid. We did a bus tour and spent the day in this historical little town. Went to a blacksmith shop for a demonstration & enjoyed a guided tour of this little gem.
Went also discovered lemon Fanta!! What a treat on a very hot day!

I returned to 99 Steps yesterday to see how the colours were evolving, but there was still more green than red & yellow. Enough to paint the path but nothing like the late fall pic I posted with the golden yellow. It has just not been that cold here yet to see the full fall spectrum!
I did enjoy the warm sun peaking through the trees & splashing just the right amount onto the infamous 99 steps leading right into the sunburst to give a magical glow!
