Feeling grateful for a beautiful evening of Deep Listening Lounge at DADA last Friday night!

A huge thank you to VPC Ensemble (@vpcensemble) and Blood Estate (@blood.estate) for filling the space with their beautiful and immersive sounds and meditative rhythms.

We’re so thankful to our performers for sharing their creativity, vulnerability, and artistry with the DADA community. These moments of connection are what it’s all about. 🌀 by @concentricsounds

You better believe it! See you all tonight @dadabarnyc for some chill weird vibes from us and @blood.estate for the @concentricsounds deep listening lounge 💖 by @concentricsounds

Part of @iamjuliehill’s mesmerizing performance from our Release Ritual at @greenhouse.bk last month. What a magical evening thank you for gracing us with your mystical presence and embarking us with your ethereal vocals 💖 by @concentricsounds

Join us Oct 16th at DADA for a cocktail bar soirée of meditative music courtesy of VPC Ensemble and special guest Blood Estate. Enjoy a chill Friday evening of dinner, drinks, and deep listening.

VPC Ensemble is a collective of NYC improvisers, debuting their unique blend of psychedelic ambient space jazz with “Life Is a Strange Loop.” Combining electric guitar, electric viola, flute, percussion, and vocal textures into a collage of continuous sound that revolves, repeats, and yet transforms, just like the cycles of life.

Blood Estate is the audiovisual project led by Julius Doogan, emphasizing improvisational expression at the intersection of ambient, shoegaze, dreampop, and slowcore, striving to build a more authentic, connected world through ritualized song.

This Friday at @greenhouse.bk — we’re doing a ritual for the Harvest Moon in Aries, coming together to focus our energy on reaping the rewards we have all been working towards. Presented by @concentricsounds, this is both a sound healing/meditation session and a live concert:
6:00 — Opening meditation with singing bowls by @neworeens
7:00 — Intimate songs by @iamjuliehill
8:00 — Deep listening, movement and performance by @vpcensemble
9:00 — Closing ceremony by @musicbotofasinasurya x @aspaceforsound
The full moon of autumn signifies completion, abundance, and receptive energy for all of life’s bounties. But this Aries-charged “harvest” is not passive; it requires bold action and courage to claim. It is a potent moment to finalize major projects that require a “final push” of determination, effectively using the moon’s brightness to work late on your own terms rather than waiting for permission. In this ceremony, we invite everyone to supercharge their energy for manifesting the things they are working towards in their life. For VPC Ensemble, this is the vinyl release of Life Is a Strange Loop, the way our music was meant to be heard. We are thrilled to be able to share this with you lovely people. See you there! 🌊🔁🛸💖 by @concentricsounds

@musicbotofasinasurya visits Brooklyn on 9/25, bringing the spiritual jazz lineage of his mentor @alicecoltraneofficial to @greenhouse.bk for a special duo session with @aspaceforsound — here he is performing an inspired opening invocation for a 60th anniversary celebration of A Love Supreme presented by @grandperfs Worlds Alive and the @coltranehome (wish we could’ve been there!). Surya was also a featured player on @andre3000’s New Blue Sun. The 9/25 show next Friday will open with a singing bowl sound bath meditation by @neworeens and performances by @iamjuliehill and @vpcensemble — things are going to get peaceful ✨

What if a night out left you feeling healed and energized instead of overstimulated and depleted? Concentric Sounds is a new concert series for just this — beautiful sonic experiences in unique spaces, centered around mindfulness, mental health, and community building.

Dance and sound combine in @vpcensemble for an embodied meditation journey — their “Life Is a Strange Loop” performances invite the audience to hum along to the music and move as their body tells them as part of the listening experience, bringing the room together in the physical experience of sound. We’re excited to bring this unique experience of sound to @greenhouse.bk next Friday! Joined by @iamjuliehill @aspaceforsound and @musicbotofasinasury, with an opening sound bath by @neworeens, this is going to be a beautiful night 💖 tix via @luma_hq in bio

Fresh off an inspiring performance at @roulette_intermedium, @aspaceforsound will bring more improvisational beauty to @greenhouse.bk in a special collaboration with @musicbotofasinasurya — you will not hear this any place else! It’s going to be a very peaceful night, with an opening sound bath by @neworeens, ambient crooning by @iamjuliehill, and a psychedelic space jazz journey with @vpcensemble 🪷 tix in bio!
