Some opportunities are earned.
Some are given because someone believes in you before the results do.

This weekend I get to stand at the Hyrox World Championships starting line representing more than myself.

Grateful for the people who backed the journey, trusted the process, and made this possible.

I’ll do my best to make you proud.

Now it’s time to race. 🌍🦾 by @concept2benelux

Een kleine waarderingspost naar de marketing van 40 jaar terug ⏳📈 Wat je allemaal niet kan doen met zo een roeimachine 😋

#C2geschiedenis by @concept2benelux

All energy production to get the flywheel moving is created in the upper end of the movement.

Your lats, core, and hip flexors form a connected chain that needs to work together to transfer force efficiently into the machine.

One simple way to create a little more usable range of motion in that top position?

➡️ Raise the calves / come onto your toes.

This allows you to lengthen the top end slightly, load the chain a bit more, and potentially create a stronger setup before initiating the pull.

This is also why we don’t excessively bend at the bottom of the movement 🛑

The lower end is not where we create the most efficient force transfer into the flywheel. Excessive flexion often adds range of motion without adding meaningful power output.

More range where it matters.
More energy into the flywheel. ⚡️

Small adjustment. Big difference in feeling.

Hope this helps 🫵 by @concept2benelux

Hyrox isn’t won fresh. That’s why sessions like this matter.

Every 4 minutes:
• 20 all-out reps on the strength erg
• 12 walking lunges
• 30s all-out on the BikeErg
• 12 wall balls

Simple on paper.
Absolute chaos in reality.

This is the type of session that teaches you how to produce power under fatigue; exactly what Hyrox demands.

As always, full details are on my Strava 🫡

Good luck athletes 🤝 by @concept2benelux

Always a party with our bikes from @concept2inc! 🎉

This is designed to simulate the FINAL 15 minutes of a HYROX race…

60 minutes.
E3MOM 👇
20 all out pushes on the Concept2 Strenght Erg
12 walking lunges
15 wallballs
Time left = rest

⚠️ this is HEAVY and a lot of volume. Pace well in the beginning.

The goal here is not only fitness.
It’s learning how to produce force when your body wants to slow down.

And today… I had my little training partner joining me too 👶❤️
Future @hyroxyoungstars athlete in the making.

@elite_fitness_physio working on the competition for the Hyrox Youngstars all the way in Spain 🇪🇸 💙

Save this session for your next erg day.
Send it to the training partner who loves suffering. 🔥 by @concept2benelux
