Work is well underway at 360 Park Avenue South, with our teams active on two floors 👏

On this floor, a new office is taking shape for one of our clients, with partitions framed and walls nearly done; we've now shifted focus to ceilings and lighting.

Swipe through for a closer look 👉

For the third year in a row, conceptcsi has been named one of Crain's New York Business Best Places to Work! 🎉

This honor belongs to our people. From our teams in the field to those supporting projects from the office, serving clients, mentoring teammates, and going the extra mile behind the scenes, they make conceptcsi what it is every day.

Thank you to our entire team for your dedication, professionalism, and pride in what we do. Here's to making conceptcsi a great place to work, year after year!

Data centers are suddenly in every headline, but for us, they're nothing new.

Our award-winning RiCloud project in San Jose gave a long-vacant 1980s office building a new purpose as an 80,000 SF data center, with a 45,000 SF data hall and 12MW of critical load. Rather than start over, we reinforced the original wood structure to carry new rooftop mechanical systems and left it exposed inside, lit by LEDs inspired by a circuit board.

Its refrigerant-based cooling system uses significantly less energy and no water, a key advantage in an area prone to frequent droughts.

The project earned an ENR California Best Projects Award of Merit and a Silicon Valley Business Journal Structures Award for Reuse/Rehab.

A look back at this New York Real Estate Journal feature, highlighting one of our adaptive-reuse projects.

This significant project transformed a 56,000-square-foot retail building into a purpose-built healthcare facility. Among the work carried out was raising the building by six feet, installing new structural steel and a new roof, upgrading the electrical service to 4,000A, and overhauling the building systems throughout.

A complex transformation that brought new life and a new purpose to an existing Brooklyn building.

Construction Appreciation Week is a great opportunity to recognise the people we work with and the expertise they bring to every project.

At conceptcsi, we’re grateful for our team, partners, and clients, and for the hard work, collaboration, and commitment that drive every project forward. We appreciate the relationships and expertise that make our work possible, not just this week, but all year long.

Today, we pause to remember the lives lost on September 11, 2001.

At conceptcsi, we were honoured to serve as General Contractor for the World Trade Center Memorial Wall at New York City Fire Department Headquarters. The Memorial Wall stands as a lasting tribute to the FDNY members whose lives were lost as a result of their work at the World Trade Center in the years that followed September 11.

We’re grateful to have played a small part in creating a place that honours their service, sacrifice and memory.

In the heart of SoHo, we were selected to build @45r_usa’s NYC flagship store, designed by @yunarchitecture. Sustainability was a key focus of the project, expressed through authentic Japanese craftsmanship throughout the space.

Working closely with the owner and design team, we used reclaimed Japanese materials and traditional techniques with longevity in mind. Much of the woodwork and stonework can be carefully disassembled and reused, preserving the integrity of each piece for decades to come.

The project also incorporates Shikkui Royal Japanese plaster, a traditional finish that has been used in Japan for thousands of years.

Another stage of the project takes shape in SoHo 🏗

At Greene Street, all partitions are now up, and electrical roughing for the new service is complete. The existing brickwork has also been exposed, adding character and a sense of the building’s history to the evolving space. We’re now working with the Design and Client teams to finalize the finishes.

The space comes with impressive views across Downtown Manhattan and toward the One World Trade Center.
