PICME | 18th JUNE | 19:00 | PALAU ALOS

PICME is a movement performance about the obsession with being chosen.

Moving through gay culture in Barcelona, nightlife, hookups, self-improvement and loneliness, the work follows a character trapped in a cycle of constantly adapting themselves for love, attention and validation.

Funny, vulnerable and painfully familiar, PICME explores what remains when the performance never ends.

FLASH WARNING: This performance contains strobe lighting and flashing visual effects.

Location: Palau Alos @palaualos

OPEN CALL FOR DANCERS / BARCELONA

Looking for 3 gay-identifying dancers/performers based in Barcelona for a new contemporary performance project: PICME.

The work explores freedom, validation, desire, nightlife culture, hookup dynamics, and the invisible rules inside queer spaces.

We are searching for performers who are open to physical theatre, emotional honesty, improvisation, and collective creation.

Performance date:
18 June at Palau Alòs

About the project:

PICME explores the contradiction between freedom and dependence within modern queer culture.
Techno clubs, hookups, parties until morning, open relationships, social media — all of this is often presented as liberation. But behind this freedom can exist anxiety, performance, loneliness, and the constant need for validation. How much of our behavior comes from genuine desire, and how much is shaped by the need to be wanted, chosen, and seen?

Looking for:
— Good stage presence
— Contemporary or experimental / Improvisation movement background
— Openness to vulnerability and discussion-based creation
— Availability for rehearsals in Barcelona

To apply, fill in the form (link in bio)

Deadline:
22th of May 2026 (EXTENSION: 26th of MAY)

Alexander “Yozelen” Zelentsov taken in Barcelona, Spain by @concon.eu

CONCON.COLLABORATION // @sokolovaannn X @zrepopoy

A little story: Anna reached out to us through an open call. She’s an amazing photographer, and we immediately contacted her because we really wanted to collaborate. In the end, we connected her with our videographer Zakhar, and they pulled off a joint shoot where they took turns capturing each other. Who knows, maybe they’ll even put together an exhibition together... 👀

If you also want to collaborate, meet new friends, and create art together, check out the link in our bio for the open call. Let’s create something awesome! ✨ taken in Barcelona, Spain by @concon.eu
