Excited to announce that my short film “Remnants of Ash” has been officially selected for the FaithFest 2026 film festival in Burbank, CA.

Remnants of Ash is drama, psychological thriller, faith-based film: A grieving detective, shaken by the murder of his daughter, finds his faith tested while investigating a strength of killings. When he comes face-to-face, with the man responsible, he is pushed to his breaking point and forced to confront his anger, grief and belief in God. In the face of darkness, he must decide whether to surrender to visions or choose faith and peace.

Incredibly grateful for the opportunity to direct Shells for the Asheville 48 Hour Film Project! Making a film in just 48 hours is no small task, and I’m very thankful for the group of people who came together for our Asheville team. Everyone brought their talent, creativity, and energy to the project, and I’m extremely proud of what we were able to create together.

Walking away with 2nd Best Film, Best Poster Design, and Best Sound Design awards was awesome but getting to create alongside a talented cast and crew was easily the best part.

Thank you to everyone who gave their time, talent, resources, and sweat (it was hot 😂) to make Shells happen. It truly took the whole team!

We have been nominated for 13 Awards for our Short Film ‘Shells’. The film project was for the Asheville 48hr Film Challenge Competition. You are given 2 random film genres the night of the competition (Friday 7pm) and then you must Write, Film and Edit a 7min Short Film and turn in the film within 48hrs (Sunday 7pm). Out of the 2 genres we chose the “Misunderstanding” genre. So proud of our team!!! 👏🎬😊 taken in Asheville, NC by @concordcreativeco
