What does Concours d’Elegance truly mean? Today, we found out, as participants, judges and guests came together to celebrate a shared love of beauty, craftsmanship, and the stories behind the machines. Our judges assessed cars spanning more than 50 years of history, from 1936 to 1989, examining each one for craftsmanship, originality and restoration. Watching it live, our guests could witness why an honest, original car can outscore a flawless rebuild, and why the smallest correct detail matters more than showroom shine. Guests also managed get up close with modern hypercars most people only ever see on a screen, and heard the unique stories behind each one of them. Our “Legacy to Leadership: Building the Next Chapter” tyreside chat unpacked what it takes to carry an automotive legacy forward, where our featured speaker from McLaren, Ms Charmain Kwee (Group Executive Director, Eurokars Group) spoke about her father’s legacy and how it is important to inherit and build upon the past, moderated by Mr Kenneth Yeo (J.P. Morgan Private Bank) If you still wish to experience this for yourself the doors are open until 16 August at IMBA Theatre, Gardens by the Bay. What makes a car unforgettable? Beyond performance and provenance, it’s the stories we attach to them — the hands that preserve them, the roads they’ve travelled, and the way they make us feel. This August, experience these stories in a new way at the world’s first immersive Concours. It's about time I uploaded my snaps from last month's Concours d'Elegance Singapore @concourssg held at IMBA Theatre! Funny how it's already been eight years since the first edition was held, which I sadly didn't manage to check out the entirety of. And since then, I wasn't all hopeful there would be another. But lo and behold, here I was for the second, having had possibly my only chance to experience this wide a variety of cars of such history, grandeur, aura and presence, all in one space. For a country like Singapore where road and transport rules are impossibly strict, and prices are obnoxiously high for road tax and even ownership costs for just one car, you sure know a display like this is extremely, painstakingly difficult to set up (past booking the event space itself), but I'm beyond grateful that the team at @hustlebustlegroup and @marieweellp have made the effort for it to take place nonetheless! All to bring the car community and automotive enthusiasts closer together 🥹 #concoursdelegance #concourscars #carsofsingapore #hustlebustlesg #bringingpeoplecloser by @concourssg

Concours d'Elegance Singapore 2026, the world’s first immersive Concours, brought together rare classic and collector automobiles, immersive storytelling and a community united by automotive design, craftsmanship and history. It was especially meaningful for Dezign Format to co-organise the event with @hustlebustlegroup and @the_msvcr. IMBA Theatre provided the ideal setting for the experience, with immersive digital projections transporting the historic automobiles across continents and through the diverse landscapes of the legendary Grand Touring routes. We are grateful to every partner, exhibitor, car owner, crew member and visitor who contributed to the event and shared this experience with us. #dezignformat #ConcoursDelegance #concourscar #concourssg #classiccars #collectorcars #carsofsingapore #automotivedesign #eventexperience #singaporeevents #Singapore by @concourssg

Some cars are collected. Some are preserved. But they were all made to be driven. The Tour d’Elegance brought our classics back onto the road — a celebration of the simple joy of driving, the spirit of adventure, and the shared love for these machines that keeps their stories alive. Because preserving automotive history isn’t only about keeping a car in perfect condition. It’s about hearing the engine come alive, taking the long way around, and creating new stories along the way. A fitting end to Concours d’Elegance Singapore 2026 — and a reminder that the journey is always part of the story. #ConcoursdEleganceSingapore #ClassicCars #AutomotiveCulture #HustleBustleSG #BringingPeopleCloser by @concourssg
