For the latter, we recommend some good bread, excellent butter, a jar of strawberry rose jam, granola, everything bagels, some snow cookies , a cup of coffee or two.

There are three things a Classic Opera cake should have.
Almond sponge, Coffee & Chocolate.
Conçu’s Opera Cake is no exception.
Our version keeps everything that matters and leaves the gluten out.

For the past week, our cakes kitchen has welcomed groups of four-and five-year-old Montessori children from @anthea.montessori

Leading their tour was our 10 year old daughter Shloka, who has been a Montessori child at Anthea since she was 20 months old. She’s been in these kitchen with me since she was 3 months old, back then she was the little one asking questions. Today, at ten, she was the one answering them.

I bumped into Mujahid and Kartik in the first week of our Colaba launch operations. Coincidentally that evening I was serving guests from behind the dessert counter and when they walked in straight up to the dessert display, it was the first time I had met them but I felt a strange sense of familiarity.

Turns out they were regulars at our flagship in Hyderabad and they even have a WhatsApp Group called Conçu and now I have two new friends in Mumbai ( but I haven’t made it to the group chat yet 😄)
Perhaps someday I will earn my spot on that group chat. by @concu.in
