‘Crafted with intention’ is said a lot but rarely shown. Here’s some intentional details from our Autumn Winter Collection that you might miss but didn’t happen by accident… Choosing a vintage zig zag stitch for our woven neck labels just because we like the look. Hitting the text on this graphic tee with a watercolour so the edges bleed and blend in with the fabric rather than appearing to sit on top. Intentionally choosing a combed heavyweight cotton for our tees to give that slight shimmer Giving life advice on our silk blend wash labels. Double stitching the hems and neckline on all our tees for durability. Behind the scenes rarely looks glamorous. But every release reaches new people and new places, and it’s getting clearer who this brand is for. No grand plan. Never about profit. Just a desire to create and a love for culture. The last couple of months, in a glimpse. Going through the archives with @a.walkwithmal - all the stupid names I had for the brand before Conditioned Goods and all the sketches made before the brand was born I’m not building a brand for everyone. If I was, I’d stamp the logo on a navy hat, a black hat, and call it a day. Or move into activewear. That’s not the point of this brand. This hat is a prime example.. JUST Wearable, but never plain. Primary colours with character. Had to order 1000 of these zipper pulls just to get them made, so gotta find a use for the ones left over. They were cool on the hoodies we bought out. But they work really nicely on a more refined garment too where the zipper is the only feature. New pinstripe cotton overshirt sample. So many cool people wearing the brand lately from all corners of the globe 🌍 Unlocking new countries over time 🇩🇪 do you know how crazy it is that someone in Germany thought ‘I can’t find anything like this in my whole country’ and to go to the lengths of ordering from Australia. Just deep it. The beauty of having a brand of this size is you can put time into bringing personality and creativity into all aspects. There’s no one to answer to. Painting this picture for a photoshoot doesn’t bring in revenue and most big brands wouldn’t bother, or outsource. But these little things fuel the fire in me to keep curating the brand. ‘Double Lives’ Campaign shoot day. Our best yet. You need great people to build great things. Since connecting with this guy @o.generoso he’s helped bring my ideas to life and took the brand visually to a whole new level 🙌🏼 This hat wasn’t chopped up for a cool photo. This hat became our biggest success to date. Once our supplier realised this they tried charging us more to produce on the third restock and upped our minimum order quantities. We kindly rejected. The problem was they had our custom mould with our measurement’s, patterns, shapes. So taken in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia by @conditionedgoodsau
