I submitted a film grant application this past week and, upon revisiting one of my work samples, was refilled with gratitude for our film community in Minnesota. Jim is a most excellent collaborator and his input made everything about this film better. Jessie and Matt embodied their parts (dialogue-free, mind you) and brought more to the roles than I could have ever dreamed. They are magic. Eric Pierson also brought fire energy to his role that carves out space to represent the hate one can field from society as a whole. The third actor is a secret player I won’t spoil who showed up only after we waited 45 minutes for her to make an entrance. The audio is masterful and intimate - thanks, Seth and Nick! The lighting is clearly a flex, too — thanks, Alan! The glam was graciously and beautifully designed and manifested by Pang Zoua Thor - thank you! The production design was skillfully and creatively conjured by Annie and James - thank you, both! The car scene song adds a bit of whimsey and a touch of cool - thanks, Mike Dillon (aka Gross Ghost)! Speaking of music, Jim and Seth crafted a score that is so specific and special, so singular and soft. It adds a tone that only a perfect score could offer. Lastly, thank you to Miranda and Alan for sharing their production stills (featured in this post). Production is always such a blur and these shots remind me that shoot days are real, they actually happened. Thank you, friends and collaborators, for sharing your time, talents, and artistry. Each film is proof that collaboration is powerful and sublime. Looking forward to the next one! See stories for a link to HELLA. taken in Minneapolis, Minnesota by @conduitsound

We record music on the sound stage as well as providing live sound reinforcement for all of the bands that play next door at 56 Brewing.

Gotta love creating and mixing sound at the Unicorn Synth Station in the music room at Conduit.

This wall of sonic tools is heavily used when we’re modulating sounds to create unique soundscapes for theatrical tracks, or just looping and layering with analog instruments for our own fun and vibing with each other as a team. By far one of my favorite features of CONDUIT Sound + Stage. by @conduitsound
