The legacy of Rich Silverstein lives on...

While at The Academy at Goodby Silverstein & Partners, three students created a project about a vampire puppet who wants to protect your blood... so he can have it for himself.

Created by Tyler Riggers (CW), Connelly Miller (AD), and Apollo Nava (AD). They pulled in other creatives Dallas Ordulu and Maya Vasquez as actors. They found actor Lowell Abellon for the 30-second spot, and utilized the vocal talents of actor Dennis Hurley!

They created the puppet from scratch, with the help of Ryan Kirtack, to bring the concept to life. As Tyler said in a statement obtained by Breaking & Entering Media: “The spot wouldn’t have come together without him!”

These creatives all graduated from The Academy at GS&P in 2026, and are now working all across the country—from WEST BBDO, to BBDO Worldwide, to Goodby Silverstein & Partners, and Mother.

For those who don’t know… Rich Silverstein is one of the most influential Art Directors of all time in advertising. He co-founded Goodby Silverstein & Partners with Jeff Goodby, and has stepped away—this week—after working there for 43 years, doing top-level advertising. Within the last 5 years, Goodby & Silverstein created The Academy at Goodby Silverstein & Partners—a free one-year program for aspiring creatives to learn from the talent at GS&P. taken in Goodby Silverstein & Partners by @conellymiller
