She’s a 10/10, but she has bookworm problems. 📚

Apparently being a reader comes with a very specific set of personality traits. 😅

How many called you out? 🤔😂

Some books really should come with warning labels. Not for the usual reasons, but for the very specific side effects nobody warns you about before you start reading.

What warning labels would you add to your favorite books?

I love a good duology. Long enough to get completely invested in the characters and the world, but not so long that I’m committing to seven books 😅

Here are a few fantasy duologies worth adding to your TBR.

What duology am I missing?

If you’re looking for your next fantasy/romantasy obsession, these are some books I think are worth checking out. And I’m using “romantasy” a little loosely here because I don’t think every fantasy book with a romance subplot suddenly needs to become a romance book.

There’s dark magic, witches, folklore, morally questionable people, creepy forests, dangerous kingdoms, enemies who probably shouldn’t be trusted and, yes, some romance.

Basically all the things that keep convincing me I need another book when I very clearly do not.

I went into The Lost Sisters wondering if Taryn’s POV would finally make me like her.

Yeah… that didn’t happen.

There’s something almost worse about finally understanding a character and still thinking, “Nope. I stand by everything I said about you.”

I love when a different POV doesn’t completely rewrite what happened, but changes how you judge the person behind it. And apparently, getting inside Taryn’s head only made me more confident about where I stand.

Now I NEED to know: did The Lost Sisters make you like Taryn more, hate her more, or change absolutely nothing?

It’s not easy for a mood reader to stick to TBR, but let’s try this! 🤓

What’s one book you can’t wait to read in September?

I was sick last week and basically did nothing but read. 🤷‍♀️ I somehow managed to read almost a book a day, so at least something good came out of this! 📚

Some books were great, some were… questionable (Morning Glory Milking Farm 👀🤯😅), but overall, not a bad way to spend a miserable week. 😉

Apparently, if you ask me to make a stack of books in one color, black is the only one I can actually deliver on 😅🖤

I was tagged in this challenge by the amazing @readwithrachael_ , and discovered that apparently, I’m very committed to one color when it comes to my books 😂

This is the BIGGEST stack I could make, which means my bookshelves are seriously lacking in the color department 😬

So, note to self: buy more books - I mean, BUY MORE COLORFUL BOOKS! 🫣🤣

And @readwithrachael_ I owe you an apology:
I lied. I absolutely do not have enough blue books 🤷‍♀️😉🤣

📚 Meet some of my favorite bookstagrammers! ❤️

Just a little appreciation post for the people who make this corner of the internet so much more fun! ✨

These are the account I love coming back to, the people who always have the best recommendations, and are the reason my TBR will never know peace. 😂

They deserve all the love you can give them! ❤️❤️❤️

Dramione left AO3 and Wattpad, and made its way onto bookstore shelves.

Some of the biggest Dramione fanfics have been reworked into traditionally published novels - new characters, new worlds, new magic systems… but with pieces of the stories readers originally fell in love with still at their core.

And with Alchemised, Rose in Chains, Once, Again, Always, Our Dark Incantations, Under the Iron Sky, and At the Mercy of Midnight, it looks like Dramione’s influence on publishing isn’t disappearing anytime soon.

But I’m curious about one thing:

Do these stories still make sense without the Harry Potter universe, or are they not as exciting anymore?

Would you read the published version of a fanfic you already loved? Or does removing Draco and Hermione remove part of what made it work in the first place?

BRB, GOING TO B&N

In case you haven’t heard yet…

Barnes & Noble’s Book Haul is back! 📚

Hundreds of hardcovers are 50% OFF in stores and online through September 7th - including fiction, fantasy, memoirs, and more.

So basically… this is terrible news for my TBR and even worse news for my bank account. 😂

Anyone else about to “just look” and somehow leave with five books?
