Wow is all that comes to mind as this is the biggest achievement of my life. Pure joy pure happiness and a lot of emotions. Very happy and pleased to announce that i have passed my Players Ability Test (PAT) today. Target score was a 156 and shot 76 - 76 for a combined score of 152. It’s not about how you start it’s about how you finish. Hitting fairways and hitting greens in reg are so crucial under this pressure. If you get yourself into trouble it’s about how you get out of trouble. Very happy with the way the putter was rolling, 4 birdies over 36 holes.

As a kid who played his first round of golf at 7 years old. I have always dreamed of becoming a golf professional. From beating my grandfather at 8 and him passing when i was 9 i was given his clubs. I dedicated my high school career to him and won a county championship with them went to states with them. I have always been determined to have a career in golf. My advice to all of you is if you have a dream or a passion. Never quit never give up and keep fighting because good things will come. There were times i questioned if i would be able to pass my PAT and I did it in my first attempt. Believe in yourself and you can do anything you put your mind to. I have put in so many hours on the driving range and practice rounds and practice on the putting green leading up to this event. I hope you are looking down proud of me poppie, this was for you!

Thank you to everyone who has helped me encouraged me and sent me messages wishing me the best of luck, I love you all and am so grateful to have such great people around me. I love the sport of golf and look forward to helping others with the game I love. Thank you god for guiding me in this direction and career.

Bitter sweet is an understatement. Wow what an amazing experience working at Callawassie Island Club. So blessed and so thankful to have worked for such an amazing club. Very grateful for all the people i met along the way from staff to members it was an extraordinary experience and privilege. So much more than a golf course community. Callawassie felt like home from the jump, such welcoming members and it feels like a big family. Callawassie is one beautiful golf course. If you have the chance to play it, do not pass up on it. 27 holes that maximize the beauty of the Low Country. It was an awesome experience playing in tournaments in the Low Country chapter of the PGA. I am certainly gonna miss the Low Country and the amazing people of Callawassie. Huge thanks to Jeff, Wes, and Andrew for taking me on and giving me this opportunity and accepting me into Callawassie.

As I close this chapter of my life in the Low Country. I am very excited to see what’s next and what south Florida has in store for me. I am excited to join the South Florida section of the PGA and meet new golf professionals at a new location. I am pleased to announce that I will be moving to Naples Florida in order to work as an Assistant Golf Professional at Hunters Ridge Golf and Country Club. Very excited to get down there and get started.

A little update on my PGA PGM progress. I am almost done level 1 just have a couple more quizzes and tests to take along with the seminar then I will be into level 2 of the PGA PGM program. Blessed to have my PAT under my belt and that is another reason why the Low Country will always be special to me.

Thank you everyone who has helped me along this journey. And thank you to those who support me and this account. Wouldn’t be able to do it without y’all!

PGA tour season coming to a close. Tour Championship week, all eyes on East Lake. Who will take home the Fed Ex Cup this year? I’m going with Sam Burns, so many close calls this year I think he finally gets over the hump and takes home the biggest check of the year. Let me know down below who you got this week. #golf #pgatour #tourchampionship #fedexcup by @confantgolfs

First tournament playing solo since high school. Didn’t know how much i missed competing and playing tournament golf. Being able to do something you love for a living and teaching the sport you love is quite an uplifting experience. As a kid i always looked up to club professionals and how hard working they are and now I am doing the coursework to become just that. Thursday I played at Daniel Island Club in the Charleston Area in a Summer Series tournament for the Low Country chapter of the PGA. As I learned at UTK networking is everything in the real world, with that being said made some new connections and friendships in the Low Country PGA. A great group of people in this area and felt very welcomed as this was my first tournament appearance.

Education portion before the tournament- learned a lot on professional’s insight on the industry problems that have been going on for decades. So inspiring to learn from professionals who have been in the golf industry for longer than i’ve been alive.

Onto the tournament and personal evaluation- My golf coach in high school taught me to focus long term on the good short term on the bad. For the bad, I had two blow up holes where i lost ball and had to go back to where i hit my second shot on the par 5, and also went into the hazard off the tee twice. Things happen in golf it is never going to be perfect and as Tiger said as good as you get at the game you can always get better. For the good part of my round, I have really dialed in my driver, hitting 12/14 fairways. I had a rough front nine and had a total mental reset making the turn. I decided to look at it as a new nine and a fresh start. Went on to shoot 37 with 6 pars 2 bogeys and a birdie on 18. Iron play was solid, compressing the ball very well. Putting needs some work but overall a pretty solid performance putting. Golf course management really hurt my scorecard. I have learned to play more conservative and learned that i need to be more strategical on when to be aggressive. Overall i am really proud of myself for not giving up when things went south. Huge thanks to Chris Edwards for having us out! Thank you everyone for your support it means the world to me! taken in Daniel Island Club by @confantgolfs

Very blessed is an understatement. Yesterday I played in my very first tournament as a PGA Associate. Yesterday wasn’t my best showing by any means but very happy to have completed my first event in the Low Country chapter of the Carolinas Section. I played in the Pro Assistant so huge shoutout to my Director of Golf Wes for having me out with him. Also thank you to Wes for organizing this event as he is in charge of the Low Country Chapter of the PGA. What a great group of people in the Low Country PGA, it was so great to see some familiar faces and compete against each other playing the game we love. This was a great experience for me even though I didn’t play the way I wanted. Sadly i just couldn’t get the putter going and left a lot of putts short. Overall such a fun day. I know what i need to work on to improve and come back next time and try to take home the trophy. Congrats to Mark Teed and his partner on winning the Pro-Assistant 2026. Thank you Tyler Hays for having us out at Sea Pines Country Club!⛳️🏌️‍♂️ taken in Sea Pines Country Club by @confantgolfs
