Every setback has taught me that giving up isn’t where my story ends.
There have been days when I didn’t know how things would work out. Days when fear was louder than faith. Days when the weight felt heavier than my strength.
Yet somehow... God kept reminding me to take one more step.
The fighter in me is no longer fueled by pride.
She’s fueled by purpose.
She knows that every battle is producing endurance, every delay is building character, and every “not yet” is preparing her for what God has already planned.
So if you’re in a season where you’re tired, discouraged, or wondering if you have enough left to keep going...
Borrow a little of my faith today:
The fighter in you hasn’t disappeared. She’s just been carrying more than anyone knows.
But let’s be honest… If you were going to quit… you would have given up by now!! So just keep pushing.
Keep showing up.
Keep dreaming.
Keep fighting.
The life you are looking forward to is closer than you realize…
Because the story God is writing for you….
is far from over….

Baby...

*Survivor* was a Destiny’s Child album.
It was never supposed to become the lifestyle.

Somehow I sang that song so hard in the 6th grade that it became my life’s anthem.

Or maybe it was the decisions I made.
Maybe it was the seasons I survived.
Maybe it was the belief that struggle was proof I was doing life right.

Either way...

I got really good at surviving.

But I’m learning that God didn’t call me to make a home in survival mode.
He called me to live, to thrive, and to experience the overflow I spent years praying for.

Survivor was the soundtrack.
It was never meant to be a badge of honor.

There was a version of me that prayed for this peace.
Prayed for this wisdom.
Prayed for this discernment.
Prayed for this level of confidence and closeness with God.
So today, I refuse to shrink back into old patterns just because they’re familiar.
Just because fear showed up doesn’t mean I have to invite it in.
Just because lack tries to scream at me doesn’t mean I have to agree with it.
Just because the path feels uncertain doesn’t mean God isn’t leading me.

She remembered who she was—
a daughter of the King,
called, chosen, and equipped for this season—
and adjusted accordingly.
My decisions changed.
My boundaries changed.
My conversations changed.
My posture shifted .
Because when God answers your prayers, the assignment becomes learning how to live like the woman you asked Him to make you.
The woman I prayed to become doesn’t make decisions from fear.
She makes them from faith.
So today, I chose to act accordingly.

Listen… life looks anything but promising in some seasons.

I know what it is to be abased.
And I know what it means to abound.

In other words...
I know what it’s like to be paid.
And I know what it’s like to be brokity BROKEEEEE.

But one thing I do know—

GOD DELIVERS.

Time.
