Mostly a cosplayer/costumer, but I am easily distracted by other projects. And cats. I get very distracted by cats.

Judy and I attended the Fleurs de Villes exhibit a couple weekends ago at @filoliestate. I do not watch the show, so I didn’t know the characters but it was cool to see the gorgeous displays. I included a close up of my favorite one: that lace is hand punched corn husks! So clever!

@allfrockedup and I went in theme (of course). I meant to make a new daytime top for my Victorian but that obviously didn’t happen. It’ll just have to wait for the next time I need to wear this dress. 🤣

“A young hunter and huntress, each stalking their own quarry, cross paths by chance. Their pursuit slows — and together, their hearts turn to honor the ancestral spirits of Sigangli, the sacred origin of their people.” - Our Wa Piece debuts 10/10 with @confusedkittysewing and @93xyao at the @hammertheatrecenter Theatre. 🎟️ Tickets and info in Bio by @confusedkittysewing

How cool does this look?!?! 😊 Amazing photo taken by @poodzlife of me and my dance partner in our Wa dance costumes.

If you’re in the SF Bay Area and are interested in seeing dances from minority groups in China, come watch our performance in October! Info is on @baigali_and_dancers.

(There are more dance photos incoming so brace yourself. 😬)

@gbacg is helping me host another historical ice skating party! We have the entire rink to ourselves, so if you’ve ever wanted to skate on an outdoor rink in historical costume, come join us! Tickets are on the site: gbacg.org

I included a video of the larvae using the “bear friends”. They’re super helpful for people who are not as stable on the ice. 😊

We went to the Manet & Morisot exhibit at the @legionofhonor for @dauphinecouture’s birthday. She gave us her personal guided tour of the exhibit which was super cool. I will need a personal guide at every art exhibit now. 😊

I wore my winter Victorian, which was a good choice cause it was really cold (by Californian standards 😅). I’m completely in love with the tea gowns some of the other ladies were wearing and now I want one.

Got to try one of those spinny camera setups at Fan Expo. I didn’t realize you had to look down more. It makes me look really spacey which is in character! 🤣

I was the last one to finish my costume from this set but we finally did it! It was super fun to see people walk past us trying to figure out who we were supposed to be, and then seeing the moment the lightbulb went off. Usually they figured it out when they saw @allfrockedup in her “nailed it” dress. 😆

Everything they do in these costumes looks hilarious. 😆
