"I want to keep doing this because I actually just like doing it. Just showing up every day and getting to make art or help other people make art, I feel like I won the cosmic lottery. I don't really think I deserve more than that. I don't need attaboys or accolades, I just want to get up every day and help people make art."

i’ve been alive for a while now and more than a third of my life has been devoted to art. the making the helping make and the experience. i’ve seen and heard great things. nearly magical.

but still nothing has come remotely close to this transcendent piece that haunts me still. by @congletonjohn
