Shoreditch is next! 🍂

This class focuses on expanded forms of patchwork through painting, sculpture, installation and traditional craft. Contrasting time frames and geo-locations are knitted together forming dialogues across generations. Impossible architectures emerge through the fight between gesture and geometry.

You’ll be guided through group discussions and independent drawing tasks. You'll have the opportunity to meet new people, have interesting discussions, gain confidence in drawing and make meaningful connections with artworks and people!

January is a time to let go of old patterns and build new habits! If any of these resonate, perhaps you'll find what you're looking for at a CCM class 🌟🌟🌟 by @connectingcuriousminds

Wow look at these morphing, melting, mysterious drawings! Thought-provoking results from our Mayfair class 🧡 by @connectingcuriousminds

We braved the rain storms yesterday and were rewarded with spectacular paintings! Throughout the exhibitions we noticed how the human body was placed in relation to different versions of the world: microscopic, mundane, digital, urban, everyday and inter-galactic!

Tenderness and sincerity were out of fashion in the art world for a while. I'm so excited to see them valued again in this stunning exhibition of Louis Fratino. Painting his friends, lovers and domestic surroundings, Fratino's work is quietly beautiful, finding the treasures in everyday life. We'll be visiting this thoughtful, calm, sensitive, gentle, achingly beautiful exhibition in our next class! by @connectingcuriousminds

Yesterday's class had an especially calm feel to it, walking between galleries in the warm September sun and discussing thoughtful and magical work with a lovely group of friendly and curious participants 🧡

The amazing shows we saw were:
@t_j_shin @finalhotdesert
Dickon Drury and Gabriel Hartley @seventeengallery
Lyndon Barrois Jr @almapearlgallery by @connectingcuriousminds

New location! Next class we'll be in Hoxton, a location we've never been to with CCM... this means new galleries to explore, with a focus on young emerging artists 🧡

We are back! Next Class will be in Hoxton 🩵
In this class we'll encounter artists working in painting, sculpture, film and installation. We will visit three exhibitions which focus on the distance between reality and recording. Through the use of clocks, cameras, magazines and still-life paintings, these artists question what gets missed or manipulated by our tools for measuring.
