As a thank you to all the NHS and Ambulance staff who cared for me during my recent health emergency I am extending my special rates to include all Blue Light workers.

The day after this picture was taken I was rushed to hospital with Sepsis where I stayed for 5 days.

Having now passed the 1000 wedding mark in my career I thought it would be fun to list my most asked questions in the car, and those by wedding guests whilst I’m waiting……..

Is this your car then? Yes, I own all of the cars personally.

Which is your favourite? The Rolls Royce Phantom. It changes your mood when cocooned in it. And the stereo is like a nightclub.

I bet that costs a lot to fill up? Yes, the Phantom has a 100l tank, so about £150 at the moment. The Ghost is about £130.

So, what mpg are you getting? Somewhere between 13-16 on average. Less in the summer with the AC on all the time.

Do you enjoy it? Yes absolutely. I get to meet lovely people and go to amazing places on a regular basis. Everyone is pleased to see me and it’s a special thing to be such a fundamental part of someone’s wedding.

I bet you see it all? Yes, and that is where years of experience comes in. It’s my job to make you as relaxed as possible on the way to your wedding.

Has anyone ever refused to go through with it? No, but I did have a father try very hard to talk his daughter out of it.

Why have you got 1 silver Rolls and 1 white Rolls? I prefer the silver as the dress shows up better in the photos but I like to give people the choice.

Is this electric? No, but the Rolls Royce engines are extremely quiet.

How much is a tyre for one of these then? The tyres for the Ghost are £2800 per set, and the Phantom £1600. The tyres are unique to Rolls Royce and as well as having a self sealing layer against punctures, they have foam inside to make the car even quieter on the road. I’ve bought 6 tyres this month thanks to our pot-holed roads.

How do you wash it? I do it myself or get my friend Chris in to do them @basingstokecardetailing

What’s been your biggest service bill? 20k. That’s painful.

Are you single? Yes 😂

That’s just a snapshot of the questions I get asked a lot and maybe some of the answers surprised you, and maybe not. Most people are blown away by the costs. For many people travelling in a Rolls Royce or one of my other cars is such an event, which they may only do once in their life, and it’s a privilege to share it with them. taken in Surrey by @connectlimos

Well, what can I say? I’m honoured, flattered and over the moon to have been judged worthy of a place at the Regional Finals. This year has certainly had it all for me - dozens of weddings, extreme weather, fuel prices, family drama & 2 near-death health emergencies. It was thanks to the amazing NHS and Ambulance staff at St Peter’s that Sepsis didn’t get me. Because of them I’m now here hoping to win this award, which is not something I could’ve imagined only a few months ago. To come this far is incredible and to win would be even better, but to be considered worthy in itself is a victory for me.

I must thank the couples that nominated me (they know who they are) without my knowledge, and those who took the time to vote. I’ve received some lovely personal messages from them which I’ll remember forever. And then thanks must also go to @twia_official & the team of judges for bringing together a community of wedding professionals. It can be quite a lonely business sometimes. Lastly I must thank my family, and in particular my children. They have put up with me working nearly every weekend and never being far from my phone or computer. Not once did they complain, whilst being driven around in Rolls Royce’s, managing to spend the money I’d earned 😂

This wedding had everything, including the most amazing setting not far from Guildford. They were the most lovely family too making sure I was topped up with tea and cake at all times whilst waiting. This number plate always generates a lot of comments and I’ve had many bookings before just to have this number plate in the wedding photos. These pictures track it back through time to one of my original Bentleys about 18 years ago, then my 1st Phantom, and now my current one. This plate has done hundreds of weddings, including St Paul’s Cathedral, University moves in Bristol, Charity Trackdays at Dunsfold, a movie and many photoshoots. I’m asked if I’d like to sell it quite frequently but it’s worth more than just money to me. It’s been part of my journey and that of every wedding album it has since appeared in. #alt4r #weddingcar #rollsroyce

@beunveiledwedds took pictures @greatfosters many years ago as one of our first jobs together, and also @clandonpark just before that awful fire. @sarah___wall got married @foxhillsweddings and then saw the plate at a wedding 11 years later on my current Phantom. She thought it looked familiar and I remembered her instantly as we chatted about it.
