Funk Practice info 🙌 Some little updates, specially in “What we value” , over the years our open practices and sessions have been a sacred space for us. Like a second home. 🏠 for this I think it’s important to share what is and has been valuable for us. Special thank you to Millinxstraat community center for providing the space and also @cultuurconcreet and @sol_rotterdam for supporting our initiatives. 🫶🫶 taken in Rotterdam by @connectthefunk

Meet Lion Ben Salem: My name is Lion Ben Salem, I’m a 19 year old dancer currently studying Expanded Contemporary Dance at the Amsterdam University of the Arts. My background is mainly rooted in hip hop, especially waving, but over the years I’ve also explored styles such as popping, locking, house and contemporary dance. I’m interested in using dance as a way of exploring people, emotions and the way we experience the world around us. I enjoy combining different movement languages and finding ways to communicate something through the body that words sometimes cannot. Don't miss out on his performance 🔥 📍 Moezeum Vijverhofstraat 29, 3032 SB Rotterdam 🗓️ 24th October Tickets link in bio! by @connectthefunk

✍🏻🎨Meet Thomas! My name is Thomas Rietbergen and I work under the pseudonym Bamiboy Design. I’ve drawn my entire life and since 2013 I’ve been doing it professionally in the games, animation and illustration industry. I have a huge passion for Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Hiphop. I draw everything, but I love drawing characters and portraits the most. I find the subtle details and emotional tension in human interaction one of the most fascinating things in life. So i love to study that through drawing. 📍Studio de bakkerij , Bergweg 283 , Rotterdam Noord 🗓️ 24th October He will be giving a super fun drawing workshop, family friendly! All ages and levels are welcomed :D Tickets in bio! taken in Studio de Bakkerij by @connectthefunk

Get to know a little bit more about us through the last interview we did for @dewijkkrant !🥰✨ It always touches my heart to remember @bboy.dossa and @masheltap1 inviting me to join them in their trainings, and made me feel so welcomed in Rotterdam. That definitely left a footprint 🫂❤️ @__mmuni__ taken in Rotterdam, Netherlands by @connectthefunk
