James’s first Mackeral trip out at sea with @tom_swanageseafishing 🎣 ⛴️ Normally we are field to fork here at #OnlyPans but today we did from “Fish to Dish” (that sounds cheesy and just doesn’t work as well 😂🤦‍♀️) We took “our” catch home with some other goodies from @localfishmongers to bulk the meal up and I grilled them with the classic trio - lemon, garlic, parsley 🍋 🧄 🌿. I served it with a beautiful samphire salad and some roasted new potatoes & padron peppers with oregano, salt and pepper 🫑 ! The boys feasted and loved it ❤️! My sister and I then enjoyed some naughty but insanely dreamy truffles from @chococochocolates with our cups of tea before bed 😴 Both my tummy and heart are full after such a wonderful day 😌 #OnlyPans #SupportLocal #BritishFish #HomeCooking by @connellisobel

#OnlyPans Fish pie 🐠 🥧 A real home comfort dish of salmon, prawns, cod & smoke haddock in a creamy leek and spring onion sauce with a good dollop of Dijon mustard, chopped parsley, a squeeze of lemon and mature cheddar 🧀 🌿 🍋 finished with a crunchy golden topping of cheesy mashed potatoes 🥔 All fish from @philbowditchfishandmeat and veggies, milk & cheese from @laceysfamilyfarm #ShopLocal #BuyBritish #SupportIndependent by @connellisobel

Tonight’s #OnlyPans family supper was a quick and easy one . . . Left over gammon, leeks, mushrooms and cheese mixed into a creamy sauce and baked with pasta. Simple and delicious 👩‍🍳 🤤 #BritishGammon #PastaBake #SimpleSupper #FamilyTable by @connellisobel

Turnip Spotter Alert 🚨🫜📣 The 2026 Turnip 🫜 Blog is live but not quite as “exciting” as the drought continues. Normally we would have a couple of weeks growth to show you by now but here the turnip seed sits still in the workshop 🙈🥵☀️🔥 #TurnipGrowers #SheepFarming #UkAgriculture #BackBritishFarming by @connellisobel

Today’s farm saga has involved the boys losing the office door key at some point between last night and this morning 🔑and nobody being able to get in to do any work 😂🤦‍♀️ so @benjamin_connell7 kindly “volunteered” to take one for the team to retrieve my laptop via the window so I could work in the kitchen for the day 😂🙈 Somehow I don’t think the rest of the team are going to be too happy about their office entrance tomorrow !! keys still MIA !! #FarmBoys #BoyMumLife #TheLifeOfBridget #LostKey #JCB by @connellisobel

Seems this needs a place on my “Bridget jones” grid ! My ability to think I will nail something and then go into it with total confidence to then “not quite execute it” never ceases to amaze me 😂😂🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️ #RiverThames #RopeSwingFail #BridgetJones #Soaked #Splash by @connellisobel

Today would have been my darling Daddy’s 63rd birthday. He always used to be the first to dig up my garden potatoes before I was ready to “harvest” them despite my protests and he would always leave with a bucket full when he visited. As a result we used to plant double what we needed 🪴😂🥔 . . . Seemed only right to make today my first “dig” and enjoy the first of our homegrown spuds this year with fresh mint this evening 🌿 Hope you have a Jamesons whiskey in hand and some country music on up there tonight dad 🥃 🎵 as we raise a “spud” to you at supper 😌 xxx #FirstDig #Homegrown #Garden #KitchenGarden #Potatoes by @connellisobel
