Thank you for giving me an experience of a lifetime. Thank you for the laughs and memories and putting up with my sass. Thank you for giving me a chance.

Becoming a coach was the scariest thing I’ve ever done. This team welcomed me with open arms and helped me find my voice and confidence as a coach. If you would have told me I would be called coach one day on my first day as a manager I would have said impossible. My experience with Baylor Volleyball is the perfect example of the Lord’s faithfulness. I will never understand why He continues to give me so much more than I deserve.

Pursue the Lord with all you have. Desire His heart above all else. And never stop encouraging and loving others. by @conner.payne

This semester the Lord has continued to bless me far beyond I deserve, further proof of his faithful character. I was able to play my last volleyball game in my home city with Baylor mens vb. The week before I traveled to Wisconsin with Baylor club gymnastics to compete at nationals, but was unable to due to an injury. One week before that I publicly declared my faith through baptism on Baylor’s campus. I’m so grateful to have been a part of organizations that have grown and refined me. Volleyball taught me what it means to be dedicated and experience gratitude in relationships. Gymnastics has brought me child like joy and I am so excited to continue to pursue the sport and see where it takes me. Getting baptized on campus is something I will remember forever and was long overdue. I can confidently say that Baylor has changed my life for the better. I am excited to share that I will be attending Truett Seminary this fall after graduating, more on that to come. Following my graduation from Truett, I plan on accepting my offer to the Royal Veterinary College in London to become a Veterinarian. Life has just begun. by @conner.payne

Baylor Volleyball,
You challenged me everyday yet still surrounded me with joy. You taught me how to be patient with others. You taught me that comparison is the death of joy. You showed me how to serve those who cannot repay me. You showed me how to love without hesitation. You guided me through my self doubt. You guided me and will continue to guide all that you meet straight into the arms of Christ. There is a gift in servanthood achieved without recognition. Always better than I deserve. Holy Spirit help me use these gifts to change hearts just as Baylor Volleyball changed mine.
