First things first, I give all glory to God. Without him I would not be in the position I am in today. Next I would like to thank my mom, dad, and brother. They are the biggest and best support system and motivation a person could ask for. Next is my non-blood family. The people that are by my side every single day and make my life worth living and enjoying. Then to all my coaches and teammate’s that have pushed me and gave me an opportunity to be a part of a program, family, and brotherhood. With all this being said I am extremely excited to announce that I will be continuing my academic and athletic career at Cleveland State Community College! Go Cougars! by @connerc_2

Man. This don’t feel real. To the city of Ringgold and all of the friends, family, and fans that have stood there and cheered endlessly for me I say thank you. To the coaches for putting in hours on hours of work into making me the player I am today I say thank you. To the players and coaches that came before me and set a standard and built a tradition that changed my life I say thank you. And to my teammates of the past 4 years, I can’t thank y’all enough for making this the most fun, exciting, thrilling, and memorable 4 years of my life. I want to thank my parents, brother, and family for constantly supporting me and driving me to not only be a better ball player, but to be a better person. I thank God for giving me the opportunity to play this glorious game and play it to the best of my ability. I thank everyone who has been a part of my life these past four years and just want y’all to know you inspired and motivated me to keep going every single day. My goal was to make y’all proud and to be a part of a tradition that I hope never ends. To Ringgold baseball, thank you for everything you have done. I wouldn’t be the man I am today without you. I will miss it dearly but now it’s time to go do something great. Go Cougs! #2out by @connerc_2

Today I had a come to Jesus meeting with myself after something didn’t go my way. Throughout today I have been thinking about why it didn’t go my way. Completely ignoring the whole purpose of today. After sitting down and relaxing I have realized I have too much to be thankful for to let it affect me. I have the most wonderful parents in the world that will always support me and guide me in the right direction. I have a lovely family that can always find a way to make me smile. I have a girlfriend and a second family that never fails to make me feel loved and welcome. I have the best friend group a person can ask for and will always have my back. Moral of the story is even when things don’t go your way or you feel like you can’t win for losing, there is always something good in every situation and you see what you choose. I love everyone I have talked about and as always God is good and is on time every time by @connerc_2
