Great sound doesn’t just happen. That’s where Connery Johnson comes in.

As our location sound recordist for ARTIFEX, Connery’s meticulous attention to detail ensures no whisper, breath, or atmospheric nuance goes unnoticed, even in challenging environments. He understands that audio is half the message, and his work bridges the gap between what we see and how present it makes us feel.

Whether it’s capturing the subtle hum of a tense moment or the vibrant energy of a bustling scene, Connery’s instinct for sound elevates every frame.

But what truly stands out is Connery’s attitude. With a great sense of humor, positivity, and willingness to help wherever needed, he lifted the spirits of everyone on set. Whether running circles (literally) around production or lending a hand to keep the day on track, Connery’s dedication and enthusiasm makes him the type of team member everyone wants to work with.

Thank you Connery for being part of our team and helping ARTIFEX find its voice.

My old man, Donald Kirk Johnson. You read it right. He’s no DT, he embodies the Miami Vice Donald Johnson. He’s the man I could always shoot the shit with. I hope you’re right pops, if so I’ll see you on the other side. 💔🤙❤️ by @connerykirk
