What is desire without Him?

Yesterday I asked myself this question after a deep thinking session about my life on my way home from a long car ride. I was feeling so many things Desires, find more creativity, achievement, risks, need to be known, need for connection, need to be understood and valued, desire for pleasures, to seek adventure, to find purpose. All these things I face but ask the question far back in my mind. What is desire? I feel these desires deep in me but then think of what they mean without Him. Vain, empty, unfulfilled, loneliness.

I submitted myself to Christ to fill my desires. Christ Jesus is the answer to my soul. Cheers to the new year. by @connerzett

There have been entire people groups that lived and died out that have never spoken the name Jesus. They carried stories, songs, traditions, art, languages, family, and life. They carried beauty. Without even knowing God they reflected sides of him that no one else might experience. Quite interesting actually, no, quite beautiful.

I’ve been able to be apart of many nations cultures and have first hand see/experienced love people can carry. It will continue to break my heart knowing they may never accept Christ.

But even then, what a kind thing of God to allow himself to be reflected even if someone never accepts him.

All this to say how cool would it be if these people were to know him as well as reflect him. You have a mission! taken in The World by @connerzett
