Better framing doesn’t start with the glove—it starts with understanding how and when to move your body.

The right body position creates better angles, more stability, and a smoother path to the baseball. When a catcher understands those movements, receiving becomes cleaner, more controlled, and more consistent.

At EL DOJO, we teach catchers to understand the purpose behind every movement so they can produce better results—not just repeat drills.

Train with us in person or online. Stop wasting time guessing what you need to fix. Send us a DM or email

Conner Cox
2029 Uncommitted | Cherokee Bluff

Conner swung it well all game long, putting together a strong 2-4 day with a double, single, and 2 RBIs. Young bat that competes beyond his class. Starts with a balanced setup and shows good rhythm into his load. Creates separation with his hands and stays short and direct to the baseball. Barrel works on plane with consistent extension through contact, allowing him to drive gaps with authority. The double showed ability to stay through the middle and backspin the baseball, while the single highlighted his feel for the barrel and ability to adjust. Advanced approach for a 2029 — confident, under control, and produces quality at-bats throughout. taken in Jackson County High School by @conno.rc1234
